i'm not divorced. never married. anger is an issue but only on the subject of the absent ex who does not assist financially or emotionally (for ds).

apart from that i am happy as larry and cant be angry like the OP as i dont even have a partner.

the perception that us mums sit on our !!!!!s all day is just prehistoric drivel from men whose mums still probably wipe their !!!!!s!

i had the courtesy to blank the word bum!!!

is it my fault that daddy can't/won't be daddy? what makes you think i stand and talk to my 3 year old like that?

david cameron is a pompous twit and has never lived in the real world. probably a good thing you lost your job as a support worker cos you don't sound very supportive at all.

i couldnt make him marry me and thank god he didnt. i couldn't make him stay with me either. best thing i have ever done having my kids. they are loved FIRST!!

If you've never been a single parent, its very easy to criticise. I used to subscribe to the stereotype until one day I became a single parent.

Once the shock had died down and we got into a routine, to be honest it was easy. One thing that did shock me though is how many full time single dad's there are out there who just get on with the job in hand and don't draw attention to themselves.

so why you having a pop at me then. i am a WORKING single mum and i too have worked bloody (oops foul mouth again lol) hard without any help from the sperm donor.

i own my own house and all my bills are paid and i have acheived that all on my own. i am proud of myself and also proud of any person regardless of sex who is a lone parent.

so if my partner died is that it for me then? cant move on and meet someone else and have another child (shock horror) by another man????

you obviously think that if a woman has two children (or more) by different fathers that makes her????? there are many celebs that have done this. do they get flack for it. nope!!

good for you that you reap the rewards of your hard work. now all you have to work on is your dated attitude.
