hi bobblehat,
if you've got the ingredients you could try home made:
http://www.mybeautyrecipes.com/conditioner.html
calls for egg, olive oil & water. I've tried this on my hair & it felt fantastic afterwards. it would keep for three or so days in the fridge, or you could freeze it probably. It's an Old Style/thrifty living type thing to do. It might seem a bit weird putting food on your hair but at least you know what you're putting on your head, which is more than you can say for most shampoos!!
anyway, hope this suggestion doesn't seem too way out ...
(edit: and in fact it's probably not cheaper than a £2 bottle you could buy in Boots, which will last an age ... just a useful solution if you a) don't much like the chemical gunk that goes in commercial conditioners and b) run out of conditioner and don't want to make a special trip to get any)
anyway, it's just a thought0 -
I was hoping to spend some money today, but our salaries still haven't arrived in the new account so I'm starting to get a bit jumpy! We need nine second class stamps for letters to our creditors (MBNA thoughtfully provided a Freepost address, but they don't fool me!) and my car is going into the red on diesel any minute, and I have to do a 20 mile round trip later  We're also down to two bananas and three apples, which for a family of five ain't going to last long.
Ho well, maybe I'll just Skype Nat again and get him to check the bank account...If you can't be a good example, be a dire warning
MBNA charges and interest frozen
Egg/DLC repayment agreement reached

I've just finished a week of nightshifts and so to celebrate, I bought a croissant £1.49 and a cappucino £1.75 so £3.24.
I'm a bit cross though because I am on holiday this week and I yet was down to work last night (our working week is Mon-Sun) - finished at 7.30am so really I've worked 7.5 hours of my holiday - equivilent to a day's work!! Not really fair and I won't get caught out like that again!Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T0 -

Well taking the kids to Mister Twisters tonight for party, but that is already paid for apart from a few coffees when we are there, petrol in car already so hopefully under £5 for that. DP is buying the wood for the bed repair which will only be about £15, which will save me throwing a £500 bed out.One day I might be more organised...........

GC: £200
