Hi all
I've spent £1.94 today - forgot to buy milk last night, so no breakfast this morning - good excuse for spending 85p in Boots on the way to work on goodies to keep me going until lunchtime.
Bought milk on the way home and a small chocolate bar (there's a theme here...) £1.09
Challenge is £10 for the week - £8.06 left
I've tried this challenge a couple of times and lapsed midweek  so I'm determined to make it this week.
I have my fingers crossed for you Onespike - hope your wages arrive in your new account asap
Good luck everyone

Dance class cancelled tonight, so saved the £6.50 put aside for it.
99p spent on a loaf of bread.
£10 Boots voucher claimed from Pigsback to spend on PAYG top-up when it arrives.
Not a bad day then! What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -
actually, having said it's a no-spend, I have put in a bank charges claim against Citicard, which cost me £30. But since if all goes as it usually does I'll get the money back, and since it was budgeted and had to be this week, is it OK if it don't count towards the challenge Moozie???? (ps hope your packing is going OK and not too much of a pain)0

A £9 haircut (long overdue) and a cheeky £4 pack of beer (could have avoided).
So that's £13 + yesterday's tenner = £23 so far.
My aim for this week is no more than £99. I'm slowly trying to reduce that, and working from home (which I've just started doing) could be the easiest way.0 -
PercyPig wrote:A bad start to the week for me. Heard something earlier that really upset me and made me feel down (would explain more but just thinking about typing it out makes me want to cry again) so I succombed to the comfort eating and spent £2.69 in the newsagents on a magazine and some chocs. Its bad really because I'm supposed to be dieting and saving money and have blown both today.
If only everyone in the world could be as lovely as those on here
Here's to a better day tomorrow.
I am sorry Percy :grouphug: I hope what ever it was is not too serious and you are feeling happier now. The spending could have been worse - I know as I am a comfort eater/spender too. Lots of :grouphug:Leason learnt :beer:0 -

Permission granted
I wouldn't count it either!
Let's not talk about the P word. I am close to murdering my OH, chopping him up in little pieces and packing him so we can see exactly how much 'space I waste' in a box!

Spent £6.29. This was on some Toothpaste (an essential) but also 2 x Coca Cola 500ml (love my coke and one will be for tomorrow), £1.09 on a bag of cookies which I shared with my work colleagues and rest on chocolate.
Very disappointed cos apart from Toothpaste could have had a fairly clear day. Going to try harder tomorrow. Stupid Boy!Total Debt now £22,525.07 Start Debt £32,732.36

I spent £4.40 all together after the bits this morning. Got a bottle of coke and a bottle of water while on trains. Must do better for the rest of the week! :rolleyes:Leason learnt :beer:0 -
Evening moozie,it turned out not to be a no spender after all  GP called at 11.30,sent me straight up the hospital for blood tests and scan, hospital parking cost £3.50 and DH had to take the afternoon off work to take me,not sure if they will allow him a 1/2 holiday day
now having to take the stupid steroids again and they don't agree with me,not a happy girl this evening
On a brighter note, glad you have stopped the packing for a while, why don't you hide the boxes or injure something so your man slave can do it for you
LIHDebt at highest £102k
