OP...Suggest that you escalate and/or complain to Robert Hazelwood, Skoda UK Managing Director, via sending him an email to robert.hazelwood@skoda.co.uk.
Good luck and hope this helps.0 -

On the bright side the deal is the deal so while your PX is depreciating its the dealer that takes the hit.0

Agreed to this! I bought a skoda octavia back in 2009 which took 5 months to get to me as I had chosen the 'popular' 1.4TSI engine. Managed to put an extra 10,000 miles on the clock of my old car (which I was part exchanging) and got to point it was also due a service and an MOT....so wasn't that bothered by the delay really. BUT...I did have a dealer that kept me informed and was lucky that I didn't have any problems with my old car.
As I understand I think the VAG group prioritise parts firstly for audi, then VW before seat and skoda cars as they make more profit on those cars....and then they prefer to sell cars in other markets first as they are making a lot less profit on cars in the UK now since the exchange rate fell so much.0 -
It is about 3-4 weeks ago when we went into the local Skoda dealership. Very honest salesman , told us that if we wanted a diesel car it would be a long wait. As it happened a couple were in the garage just collecting their car (Diesel) on delivery. We asked them how long ? they said they had placed their order 12 months previous. You scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian! I’ll tickle your catastrophe (Henry IV part 2)0

I wonder if all the Skoda diesels are ending up with Motability contract hire customers? Motability has some very good deals on Skoda diesels at the moment, with many diesel models being cheaper than their petrol counterparts.
Motability customers can only order their vehicles a maximum of 13 weeks before their renewal dates and I don't think Motability will deal with manufacturers who cannot meet that 13 week deadline!!!!!!!!
Just a thought!!0
