I use the lip gloss and like it as does my 4 year old daughter. I have to hide it from her.0

MoonJelly I use the Lacura Foundation (10 Transparent) for everyday use. It is fine for that , but for special occasions I love my Max Factor Age Renew Foundation. With the Lacura I found it difficult to judge the correct shade from the packaging and once opened thought it would be too dark for me , however it blends with my skin tone better than expected.The blurb on the tube says "the soft and pleasant texture leaves your skin silky smooth and shine free while providing optimum coverage power" Can't disagree with that. Minimal smell, easy to use tube. Price is the most attractive feature since redundancy. meer53 I looked at the serums , seemed to be 3 options , any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.0

Hi MoonJelly, have to say wasn't over impressed on the foundation. Normally use L'Oreal age renew and for my 'older' skin the more expensive one is better, better coverage and smooths out skin tone. The Aldi one I bought in bronze because I've just come back off holiday and still have a bit of a tan, it's ok for everyday but still prefer L'Oreal for going out.DF by Christmas 2014 #78 £18,964.15/£15,000

I'm pleased to read that they're not stopping doing make-up. My local Aldi had all their make up reduced and there were no concealer pens. I was nearly in tears as I go thru loads of it and IMHO is just as good as YSL. Boots No 7 is really good as well but quite expensive at what, £13? when you can get YSL for £17/18 online.
I'll keep an eye out for the repackaged stuff coming back in. Fingers crossed!0 -

Thank you for the review. I usually use Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation but I find it doesn't last and it doesn't cover my frekles at all! I haven't tried the sesrums yet, just the creams.Hi MoonJelly, have to say wasn't over impressed on the foundation. Thank you for the review as well! I feel from the review here Lacura foundation is more like a tinted moisturiser which is fine for the school run but not hard-working enough for going out. Cheers...............................................................................

Been to Aldi today to stock up on concealer pens after reading on this thread that they were in short supply!! It appears that they are just repackaging product - there were plenty in my Aldi store today.
Also bought foundation to try and eye cream after reading good reviews on here - thankyou everyone.0 -
I'm pleased to hear that they're just repackaging the makeup - I was getting worried they were going to stop it, and I'm desperate to try the face powder as that's one of my mainstays and the reviews on here sound great. We've got loads of the concealer pen in my branch, will have to give that a try as well.
My tip would have to be the Expert skin cream (comes in a red pot, is supposed to be their version of Olay Regenerist I think). I have the day and the night cream, and have been really impressed with them, I have sensitive, dry yet spotty skin, and I find it really moisturising, but without clogging my skin up. Only complaint would be the perfume is a bit strong, but it doesn't irritate, I just don't like it very much! But for £3.99 a pot, you can't really complain!0 -
The concealer pen will be on this Thursday's (30 Oct) Special Buys!!!! I'm stocking up :beer::j:T0

We dont have makeup in my local store we only have face creams.if they stopped most of that rubbish clothes they sell they would be able to stock more food/makeup items.And the clothes and knick knacks are always reduced as not many people buy the stuff anyway .0

Not sure what's happening with them, then, as I was told in both the High Street, Glasgow (city centre) and Robroyston branches that they weren't stocking the Lacura Concealer Pen any more :think:
)
Shades Savanna, Cashmere and a new one that looks darker/more tanned, Amber. (Though I might be wrong about the Amber shade, I can see an ebay listing with it in the older packaging: I only ever saw the two "light" yellow/pink toned options in my local Aldi).
I added some swatches I Googled here (comparing YSL's Touche Eclat to Lacura's shades Savanna and Cashmere): http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/lacura-concealer-pen-similar-touche-eclat-from-aldi-3-59-2036957?page=2#post232078590
