Thank you so much for all your research ! I use loads of skin creams and cosmetics and it costs me a fortune so I'm planning to visit Aldi this week.

The last time I tried the Lacura creams, it had a money-back satisfaction guarantee. I actually wasn't that impressed with the creams and took them back after 10 days and got a full refund without any problem.

Can anyone confirm this guarantee is still in place or not and if so does it apply to make-up as well?

I bought the shimmering face cream last week. I can't say I've noticed a difference to my skin but I love the peachy smell, it makes me happy whenever I use the product ! And with the pump, you only use the amount of product you want, so useful
    Keep calm and carry on

was about to ask the same question!

doesn't look like it though. shame.

i'm a recent convert to the johnson's essentials day cream. got a pot as a free sample and expected it to be expensive (has SPF 15 in it which is handy too) - it's only about £4!

now going online to find my nearest aldi!
    ETA - 11 miles away.... rubbish! :(

so i just bought three tinted moisturisers from elf online. they get some good reviews and there is a 25% off code if you spend over £15 (and i had to buy a few items to manage it). so more than i wanted to spend but after looking at boots, not more than buying pretty much any brand. i also added in some cleaner for brushes which is always a good idea but i've ignored it. don't know if their stuff is similar to aldi's but it's pretty cheap and appears to be reasonable.

I was looking to see if I could find a specific thread about the Lacura Concealer Pen (Touche Éclat knockoff) but the one I did find on MSE was Expired and Closed.

Anyway, after buying the YSL original, I changed over to this and for the last few years have been a happy customer. Went to buy my usual stocking up supply of pens today, and couldn't see any.

A very helpful assistant said that yes, they are much in demand because of all the publicity about them, but Aldi aren't making them any more. Which seems a bit silly to me - if they're popular (?).

Any other similar budget-friendly products I can try? What is the W7 one like? I've seen that in places like TJ Hughes.

Is there an Aldi eyeliner? I'm on a budget and I have bought a few drugstore eyeliners but they tend to smudge badly and I end up with eyeliner under my eyes giving me racoon eyes.

I have used Aldi daily moisturiser and although it is a touch oily it works great on my dry winter skin.

I've always steered clear of the Aldi make-up due to their reputation, but it sounds like I'm missing out! Time for a make-up buying hour I think!

I switched from Boots serum (£20) to Aldi (about £3.50)...it's just as good, their lipsticks are excellent too.
    Debt-free...and staying that way...
