Thanks ladies, I'm going to pay them a visit next week. I get through loads of face creams etc and at those prices I can be more generous with it (not wasteful
)

Thanks for all your replies!
I'm definitely going to try the concealer pen thenI have enough eye shadow to last a lifetime so I'm using that up before I buy anymore.
I can't remember who asked but yes the powder is just as good as Clinique and the Dr Hauschka one i used for a while. It's very finely milled which is what i look for so it isn't cakey. I only use the transparant one though so I couldn't comment on the colours0 -
I have a question about this stuff. I pretty much never wear anything on my face except for sunscreen but having been under a lot of stress for the last few years I've ended up with very dark circles, puffy eyes and some noticeable frown lines. So I decided to get some lotions and potions to see if I can tackle it.
I got the serum, the day and night cream, the eye cream and the eye roll on. The thing is though that I have no idea what order to do this in for day wear. I've read the day cream has at best an SPF of 4, so I still want to wear my regular factor 25. Should I go sunscreen>serum>eyecream>daycream and then use the eye roll on if my eyes still look dark and puffy? And how long should I wait between each applying each. I slapped it all on in that order one after another today and I not only felt pretty greasy but got something in my eyes and it stang all day. I washed it off in the evening and reapplied everything but the sunscreen and it wasn't greasy at all, so I'm really not sure what to do in future about the sunscreen.
I also got the concealer and the foundation, the latter I'm particularly impressed by. The lightest one is just my exact shade and it feels lovely and soft on, normally I find foundation sort of tickly. It's especially useful for me as I wear make-up about 5 times a year so I won't be throwing away 3/4 full bottles of expensive, out of date gunk.0 -
I bought the Lacura Concealer pen as I wanted TE but didnt know whether it would work on my dark circles and didnt want to waste £20.
I have no large dept stores near me where I can try it, also I don't know what shade to get as I have olive coloured skin. I find it ok/a bit medicre, but certainly not great as covering up my dark circles.
Is there anyone out there who has tried both and can confirm that Aldis concealer is just as good as TE?
I'm having a stupid day today:o whats TE? I have used Lacura foundation and although the consistancy and look of the product was excellent it was very very difficult to get a colour match with what was on offer, I also grabbed a tinted mosituriser for dd, we dont normally use tinted mosituriser but this was quite pigmented and matte so worth a go if you like the natural look with a bit extra:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -
I'm guessing Touche Eclat0

Hi,
Omg im so glad you started this topic, for years i have always used clinique, chanel, clarins etc you get the idea vv expensive stuff, however i no longer have that sort of cash, so i decided to try aldis beauty stuff as ive heard good reviews. well let me tell you im amazed !, never ever will i pay £20 plus again. heres the lowdown.
Aldi lacura anti-aging serum FANTASTIC
Aldi lacura anti-aging day cream AMAZING
Lacura foundation BETTER THAN MY PERSCRIPTIVES
Lacura conceler pen (LIKE YSL TOUCH ECLAT) - EXCATLY THE SAME AS THE YSL ONE< AMAZED
Lacura poweder - BETTER THAN CLINIQUE
Lacura Eye pencil - EXCELLNT
Lacura face wipes - EXCELLENT REMOVES FULL FACE INC MASCARA (DOESNT STING EYES)
As you can tell im a bit of a lacura manic now lol, ive told everyone i know hairdressers, friends, family you name it ! i should be on commision xx
I'm also a fan of their face creams I use the serum & day & night creams & the pink lid one for "mature" skin even though I'm only 36 its great in the winter at bedtime. My skin is dry & sensitive & now its never been so clean & clear. I think for the summer I can get away with using only the serum for daytime. I'm yet to use their wipes...might add a pack to my trolley next time!0 -

I'm a big fan of the Lacura makeup products, I just dont end up near an aldi that often. Invariably when I am they dont have it on the shelves....
I use the powder compact, eye shadow, concealer pen (YSL TE stlye one) and have used the foundation - but got a free pot of Estee Lauder Re-nutriv, so working through that at the mo.
I've found their nail polish to be a bit too sloppy though.Proud of who, and what, I am. :female::male::cool:0
