I want to buy my wife an easy to use, small, lightweight PAYG mobile phone for Christmas. Doesn't need camera, or any other sophistication. Any recommendations, for best deal possible ??

My Wife's handset has just broken so will pick her up a new one for Christmas - does anyone know of any good offers on pay as you go handsets at the moment ?

She doesn't want all the bells & whistles just a nice basic small mobile probaby budget of up to £50.

    TIA,
    Mike.

cashback from e2save does not neccessarily mean it's going to be free if you get my drift.

In theory I see what you're saying but if you stay under the free minutes and send off the vouchers then you can't really lose.

Carfone warehouse have the motorola v3 payg with T Mobile for £70.00 but includes £20.00 credit. Free weekend and evening texts and calls are 12 pence per minute. Its a nice phone with camera, video capture and bluetooth coves in black, silver or lilac.

I was answering your original question.
    Phone for less than £50.

And as with cashback deals... everybody knows it only works if you are really active and run after it....
