Halifax Web Saver Reward 2.8%-3.0%

The Ts&Cs say that the balance should not fall below £1.00 during the reward period. It is open to question whether the "balance" refers to the balance at close of business or the balance at any time.The_Enforcer wrote: »I have the 2.8% websaver reward with the reward 0.2%. Regarding the minimum balance of £1, would it matter if the account was emptied, but a £1 was paid back in later the same day?
I wouldn't risk it unless I had to but why not phone Halifax and ask? An email/secure message would be better so that you have a written record of what you are told.
Edit
It occurs to me that you may have inadvertently done this already. If that's the case then check the rate of interest being paid (link at top of account page); if it's 2.8% then you're ok whereas if it's 0.25% then you've breached the Reward conditions.

Yes this is the scenario - it's still showing as 2.8% currently, so fingers crossed. Thanks.I came, I saw, I saved.

Might be wise to check again for a few days - they're sometimes a bit slow to reflect changes online.The_Enforcer wrote: »Yes this is the scenario - it's still showing as 2.8% currently, so fingers crossed. Thanks.
Hope you keep your 2.8%. Perhaps you would post again to confirm you were able put things right in time. Others might make the same mistake.

Just been told that the 0.20% reward payment for this account is no longer paid separately, but is included in the anniversary interest payment. Can anyone confirm if this is true?0
