oo not been on in while...

no don't think i could either - would be fit to bursting! :rotfl: not actually contacted him yet - he's on my "perhaps" list rather than my "need" list.

bought my first wedding thing the other day :j - ring cushion for my page boy - complete bargain on ebay!

don't really know what to organise next really....have now got venue, photographer, dj, cars sorted....other than dress shopping (which i think it's a bit early for), i'm just not sure what i should be organising next :o

Hello everyone, me too for October 2012, no definate date yet as nothing booked but it will most likely be the 27th or possibly even 3rd Nov. Ive always wanted an autumn/winter wedding.

Wow some of you are very organised having things booked already, we got engaged in February and Ive been researching online but we havnt visited any venues yet. We are based in the North West.

I have loads of ideas that Ive cut out of magazines and stuck in a scrap book. I have fallen in love with a Maggie Sottero dress but its £1050 so Im considering getting a copy one from weddingdressesonline.uk.com who have the same one for £205 although I do have some concerns about this! Any advice appreciated.

My ring is a sapphire so the colour is going to be navy blue for my bridesmaids, and I am thinking maybe an halloween pumpkin/autumn berries theme for decorations, I like country/shabby chic style and my dream venue would be a barn or historic building and lots of fairy lights but we are on a very small budget so I am scouring all possibilities atm. (Ideal venue Rivington Hall Barn but a bit out of our price range.)

We are thinking of not having a wedding breakfast, just a late ceremony then straight into the evening do and a hot buffet to save money.

The only thing I have so far is shoes too, a pair of silver Jimmy Choos that my sister in law got married in then I bought them off her for £100!

Ooh and Im pushing the boat out on the Hen weekend and planning to go to New York for a long weekend with my bridesmaids, mum and future mum-in-law because we've all always wanted to go there, SaTC is my favourite tv programme (hence the forum name)

So exciting! Im looking forward to reading how everyones plans develop over the next few months :j

    heya everyone

looking to get married on the 20th oct 2012 - 10 years to the day that i met my OH

havent booked anything yet but my spreadsheets are working overtime atm

got almost everything picked out but we are waiting to book as the venue often runs really good promotions in the summer.

Lots of foreign family due to OH being from somewhere else so it will be alot of organising :(

really want a beautiful wedding which will b better then my sisters (i no its a horrible thing to think but after we announced our the next week she announced hers for jan 2013 so am grumpy lol)

unfortunately OH and Best Man are having much more fun planning the stag and their suits rather than anything else lol

sometimes think i may move out and let them get married lol
The only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 5
