But I can't help but think a bit optimistic to get them to stand up! Well at least pine cones are free! :money:
Oooh these look lovely xx0 -
Jo-how do you attach the name card to these?
I got them from a website, which I didn't bookmark, so never to be seen again! If I remember correctly the cones were cut with a hand saw down the middle to make a slot, and then the cards just slot in. I haven't tried it yet. I am back to my parents in a couple of weeks, so will have a go then when I can borrow the wood working tools!:T0 -

Aah! Thanks
OH says that would be 'impossible'. I asked him to have a go! Maybe could just attach them to the back with something sticky... maybe superglue! lol, will give it a try as I love the idea!0 -
I don't think it would be impossible if you have the right tools. I think we need a coping saw, But it's not something I generally have! Although my parents or grandparents have one which I am planning on borrowing!:T0

Well good for you! I hate myself for giving in to it! It's such a con! However, (apart from wanting to) H2B has said the offer gets withdrawn if I don't take his name!
