    From Dessy im wanting -

    2 x Style 2831 in Tutti Frutti
    1 x Style JR835 in Tutti Frutti

    and from Next im wanting

3 x Style 730-193-X48 all with Cerise Sashes from John Lewis.

Sorry still cant post links yet!

Sounds lovely danni, and them colours will be gorgeous in Mexico!! :j
  • Ah fair enough! Perhaps wait until eBay has a free listing weekend and try there. I think there is a shop in London ( Wembley area I think) that will buy second hand dresses?

Couldn't find the details on the London shop but had a nosy on Ebay and got it listed for free there so fingers crossed :)

    Hi Danni welcome aboard !

Right ive finally got things moving, cake is booked found a really nice girl through facebook, sent her picture of 4 cakes i really liked and shes taking all the bits that i like and making mine from them so im getting exactly what i want ! appointment booked for 10th oct to go look at dresses with my mum and sister, so god help me ! , honeymoon to cape verdi getting booked on friday.
I have one thing i hope you can all give me your thoughts on ,for my evening reception ive decided not to invite all my cousins kids , only because evening invites are usually for couples and friends only , ive personally never been invited to an evening reception with my kids, kids are usually only there at night if they were invited to the whole wedding day, plus at a tenner a head thats an extra £200 that i could use elsewhere. Opinions please !
  • I think that is fine Lorna. If I had kids I am sure I would want a night away from them sometimes! I would say just expect people to leave earlier than usual, and give them plenty of time to find a babysitter. Also expect some people to turn it down. Saying all that tho, people would still leave early if kids were invited, as so and so is tired! But I would agree with you, the extra £200 coul be spent on something better!

What kind if cake are you going for Lorna? I am thinking of doing my own fruit cake... I want something like this:

Ok, apparently I can't upload from iPhone, will try when I get home unless anyone can help with snapbucket?

My SiL2B really wants to make all the little people, and she is really good at it, but I don't like the idea of relying on her to do it. OH has assured me she will tho... Might get him to make a contract! Lol! I jut have the feeling it will be started with good intentions and then not done. Think we will just have to have it done a few months before, then can hopefully still order one (from somewhere) if she doesn't pull through.

I think the cake decorating bit looks easy enough, just a few bottle candles, a mini cake etc. What do u guys think?
