  • I have no idea?! Maybe call her and ask if she is approachable? Registrars charge around 300-400 quid, an she is doing that job I would guess u are looking at the hundreds. But I don't really have a clue! Put a post on the main board and see what you get?!
I don't mind fruit cake, but I specifically want this cake, and it will only work with fruit cake I think. I love the cake from thi shop in Oxford, but it's way too expensive- but tastes so yummy! I know they double soak all the fruit so I am going to do that!
Yay on the honeymoon! :T I can't wait to book ours. We want to go to Maldives, but can't book it until we can guarantee H2B can get the time off. :(

the minister ive known for years, she the aunt of someone who used to be my best friend when i was a kid, and my mums an elder at the church. My cake is a mixture of all my favourite ones i couldnt afford lol, there was no way i was paying £660 for a cake !:rotfl:
  • That makes £450 for my ideal cake sound almost reasonable! Pigs, I already have my dress- eBay! I want to get bits changed on it though, so need to sort that out. Can most dressmakers work with lace do u think? I am a complete newbie when it come to sewing, I have no idea what is normal... How easy is it dealing with lace?!? I loved going dress shopping tho, but putting ur normal clothes afterwards really sucks! :p

  • Ha Ha bet it does! Am sure most dressmakers should be fine with lace. What is your dress like? I want something 'flowy' for the beach :D
  • It's champagne lace. With a gold sash. If you google "Jennifer" and "forget me not" it should come up. I want a lacy top added to it tho, with longer sleeves than the bolero. It's really hard to explain what I want!! Grr!
    :T
  • Ooh sounds lovely, will have a nose :)

Am sure it will be perfect and just the way you want it by the time you've finished x

It's October! This officially means we're one year away now! Really need to get moving with my planning....

Have stared making my save the date cards, ready to send out after Christmas.

Can't believe the weather, if it's like this next year my plans of the cozy log fire at the venue will be a bit rubbish!!!
