**October 2012 Brides and Grooms**

Same date as me! I think there are a few of us with that date.

Well I have venues, band, caterer (for afternoon tea, still need to sort out fish n chips) photographer, bridesmaid dresses, ties (tho am having a brideszila moment about the colour), and my dress. I want my dress changed a bit tho, and have done absolutely nothing about that. Doublemummy will say I am super organised, but I just do bits when I can.

Regarding everything else, I know bits of what I want, but have done nothing about it!

I'm having a bit of a crisis about the bridesmaids dresses, I decided to go for a general autumn theme, instead of a colour, and now I think I've given myself too many options! Wish I was organised - I'm rubbish at making decisions and so is the OH so we have kind-of-general ideas about stuff but knowing us it will take us ages to decide anything!

Same as me! I got brown ties ages ago, then last week ended up getting burnt orange BM dresses. Here :

So pretty!!! I'm not sure what length or style of dress I'm going for, my dress is strapless and has a full A-line skirt, dont know whether to get the BM's to compliment my dress or to get something that contrasts it. So many decisions!

Hi stir_crazy, welcome to the board!

I'm also the 6th Oct. I've only sorted out the registrar and venue so far. Starting to make some save the dates and invitations soon - hoping to get some materials tomorrow -(adding the inserts at a later date but getting the basic sorted out). Haven't been dress shopping yet as live so far away from my Mum, so we're planning when we can do that. Also having a general autumn theme and have chosen some champagne bridesmaid dresses, just need to check that they both like them.

I'm the same as you with not having decided much yet. I wish I were more like Jo!!

Thanks for the welcome! I've been looking at invitations online, my auntie has got a friend who can make them for around half the online price, and I only need to buy a sample so she knows what we want. For save the date cards, I scored because I went to a well known printer's website and they had an offer on for 250 business cards for £2.00, well around £6 by the time I paid postage. So I adapted them to save the sates and they'recoming in about 21 days. 250 is way too many, but I figured for that cost I could keep a few spares!

Hi everyone,

Just saw this thread so thought I would join.

We have just booked our wedding for October next year. We fly out to Cuba on 17th and get married on 25th! Just us 2 and our little boy going

Am so excited :j All we need to do now is get our outfits and the rings and we are sorted....oh and must renew my passport!
