Welcome Pigs! Just wondering are u renewing your passport in your married name? Or are you keeping your old name? Just wondered how people getting married abroad do it!? Cuba must be fantastic. Our honeymoon will (hopefully) be the first time I have been out of Europe. Would love to go there tho!:T0

I have to renew it in my own name for now as that will be the name I have when I travel so have to keep it apparently. Plus when you get married in Cuba, you don't get the marriage certificate sent to you for approx. 3 months so won't be able to change my name on anything without that. Will be dying to as well!!!
Aww bet you are excited for your honeymoon then!! :T0 -
Yeah, we can't book anything until march tho, bcos H2B can't guarantee he can get time off until at least then! Its driving me crazy as I like everything organised loads in advance!
I am lookin forward to changing my name, but do not like having to pay for a whole new passport! 70 ish quid just for a name change?! I really don't get why they can't do an amendment. But I would still rather pay it than use my old one, so can't complain too much! Not very MSE ay?!:T0 -
Ha Ha true. Pain for me too as I have to pay the £78 or whatever it is to renew as mine expires in April then renew again with my new name probably at the beginning of the year after. I'm like you aswell, don't want to pay again but will be wanting my name changed on everything0
