Its great to read how you are dealing with everything - I read with a smile on my face. Good-Oh. I have some questions (light-hearted) that detract slightly from your thread:
What does your username mean?
You say you are not from round here, where are you from?
You are a very fast and accurate type (of course you are, its what you do), I type a lot in my job and type upwards of 50 words a minute - which isnt bad for a bloke with fat fingers - but be careful when you type whatatwit - one small typo could be disatarous - mind you the 'a' and the 'i' are some distance a apart.

Hi lennymfo
Long time, no see. I hope you are well and everything is under control (I remember your thread about 6 months ago)
Indeed, this diekleinemue can type! Imagine if forums had ‘sound on’ option…..
Hi diekleinemue, great to see you doing something about your debts. I am also trying to blitz mine (used to be about £16K, now around £ 6K)
My debt free date is scheduled for May 2007! And it is doable because:
A. I drastically curbed my spending.
B. I realised that my taste and habits were way too snobby and expensive. I was living a nice life I could not afford.
One more thing: I have a Scottish guy in my office. His mantra seems to be (before paying for anything): can I get if for free and how?
All the best.

Hoummus sounds good.
The worrying thing about this fridge soup business is that we both are aware of the soupy bits at the bottom of the fridge. *vomiting smiley*
Good luck with the balance transfer thing. I have had a couple of late payments this year on my card, so I'm waiting for a bit before I apply for a 0% balance transfer.
If you do decide to consolidate your debts, make sure you cut up and cancel the cards. Every time I go to make a payment on my card, using the stament and it's little tear off slip, they always ask if i want a loan to clear the balance......"it will be much cheaper" they say.
When i respond that within 6 months, i will end up with both a loan and another huge credit card balance, they don't seem to realise what I mean.
i think I should start to wear a badge.....'I have no self control' and see if that helps.....on second thoughts, maybe not such a good idea. :shocked:Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

As long as there's a t-shirt for me too.
I would get some offers if I wore it on a night out in town with all the stag parties we get here.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

Hey Lenny! So glad you enjoy my ramblings. *huge smile*
Now, die kleine mue (or little my) is a character from a series of books by the Finnish author Tove Janson. The picture next to my nick is die kleine mue. She is approx. three apples tall, has red hair, freckles and generally does what she wants. That's me. Sort of. She's also up to all sorts of creative mischief and that's me too.
The books are soooooo beautiful! If you have children you are actually legally obliged to read these books to them, I am not sure if you were aware of that. And if you don't have any children (and/or are in touch with your inner child) then I recommend you go and read them yourself. They are really, really cool! Great stories about a family of trolls and small animals: The Moomin family looks like small hippos, very cute. The Snorkmaiden fancies Moomin, her brother, the Snork is a very serious guy. Little My loves hiding from Mymble (who is mostly referred to as her big sister but I also read once that Mymble is supposed to be Little My's mom.) Snufkin usually heads down south for the winter and each year in Spring Moomin can't wait for him to return. The Hemulen collects butterflies, the Hattifnatts are eerie and when Snufkin accidentally knocks over their barometer they seek revenge. Each year Moominmama carves a little boat out of bork for Moomin and they put all their jewellery in the water because it makes it glisten and shimmer so beautifully. In one story the moomin valley gets flooded and they all get separated. A group of them finds a new home in a floating theatre. They put on a great show! In another story they meet two little trolls who stole the magician's ruby! Well, you just have to go and read them!
Or if you'd rather watch them, their adventures have been turned into a Japanese cartoon series and (so adorable) into a fuzzy felt animation!!
