I’m not calling these monthlies as they can’t be ‘entered’ monthly (strictly they are not regs either but if they were in the regs board with a sticky listing them people can check if they have thanked the OP to see if they have previously signed up, if they were posted each month on the main board there is no easy way to check if you have signed up previously)

Weeklies sticky with links to ongoing weeklies on regs and weeklies on main board with an overall promotion end date

Current monthly sticky would not be needed as true monthly comps will be on main board with an end date, although it will be useful as a reference for a few months so people can check all the reg monthlies are now getting posted individually each month (maybe the thread can be used for that time for people to post and volunteer to take on certain comps)

Daily comps with an overall promotion end date as an ongoing thread with end date being the promotion end date. Linked in regs daily sticky

Monthly drawn comps, regardless of length of promotion, posted in new thread each month (the key word is drawn so if a comp is drawn monthly it can be posted on the main board with an end date even if it can be entered daily/weekly. (If it is a daily/weekly entry though it would be good if people can add a link in the daily or weekly sticky and daily/weekly entry posted in the title)

I know some people want the weeklies on the main board too but reading all the comments it looks like this is going to be a massive change and it would be good if we try it with monthlies first and then everyone can see the impact and make a decision on weeklies later
I also know some people want a new thread for each change of prize/question etc but whilst the weeklies stay in the regs board it makes more sense to me to keep the simple option of ongoing threads with updated changes, along the lines of these 2 comps.

Main board users
every monthly comp will now be posted on the main board as a separate thread each month, that will mean maybe 100 extra comps ending on the last day of each month
weekly entry/drawn comps will now be posted in ongoing threads, if the promotion has an overall end date these threads will be on the main board, if they are ongoing they will now be posted on the regs board, so if you have previously only used the main board you will need to check the weekly sticky to find them
regs board users

Expiry Date Format - Post all comps using the expiry date format, e.g. E: 01/01 Win.... If unsure of end date, then use your best estimate and put guessedenddate anywhere in the thread. This is only to be used where a Promotion has a definite (but uncertain) End Date and not for Ongoing Competitions as these are to be posted in the regulars Forum.
Ongoing Competitions in regulars should be posted as E: DAILY or E: WEEKLY. Promotions with a one time only entry should be posted E: ONCEONLY followed by register, newsletter, sign up as appropriate.
Title Tags – These are very useful in thread titles (see below) so are often used when posting a new competition, to help members decide which competitions to enter and assist with searching the Competitions Forum
We all want to be able to enter competitions easily and quickly, however we do need to co-operate and help each other to be able to do this. These are a selection of Title Tags that members have found useful in the past. You will not need to use every tag in every title, just which ever ones work best for your competition.
a) Please mention Kids, photos/purchase required, effort, email, newsletter sign up, etc in title if entry requires these. Occasionally a competition may have specific entry requirements ie 10-14 year olds, teens, 21+, etc, please ensure that these are mentioned if necessary.
b) Please mention FB, Twitter, Blog in the title, when a competition depends on these sites for entry.
c) Please remember to add Daily/Weekly in the title when posting a competition with multiple prizes or entries
If you post a competition with a daily or weekly entry please post a link on the dailies sticky or the weeklies sticky and add to your post that you have done so.
