How similar is gg compared to biokats? I tried biokats once and really didn't get on with It as It just seemed to fly out the tray and stick around in the carpet for ages despite hoovering
Im currently using oko plus and the no smell is great, so is the flushing away biti've 3 cats in one flat and its so much better than wood pellet/catsan types. Although it does track a fair way so hoovering needs to be done at least once a day!
:hello: Hiya, I'm single mom, avid moneysaver and freecycler, sometimes  but definatly0 -

So overall I suspect a bag of GG will last longer than a bag of Biocat and GG is definitely better at masking/reducing "odours".
Will let you know when this bag is finished for good...
Yay!:T
I'm having to bring Mia home at the weekend (looooooong story and really not good situation:() so thinking I may put GG into her tray and see how it compares to the BC!chocdonuty wrote: »How similar is gg compared to biokats? I've never had problems with the BC tracking
I have the plastic mat things at the entrances to the trays which catches a lot - like this

And a HUGE litter catcher mat that goes across the whole doorway at the door to [STRIKE]their room[/STRIKE] my study
Like this but without pawprints!

12 days today - will do a complete change on Sunday to make it full 2 weeks.
So 1 bag of GG lasts 2 weeks for 6 cats.
Checked, confirmed hahah0 -
That's pretty good going GR
BUT a lot must depend on the size of tray we're all using
I've just filled Mia's tray with GG to try - and it took just over 1.5 bags (the 14kg ones) to fill it  hopefully the bit that's left keeps it topped up for a while!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Jezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz- - are you using a baby bath as a tray?
Mine are hugeeeeeeeeeeee and I split one bag between the 2 and it lasts 2 weeks.
Those are the ones I have:

I mean my ones are massive and 1 bag fills each half way/dept of the tray- what do YOU use??????
:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -
wanted to get one of those but my litter boxes are too big, will not fit0

They are enormous - discovered (after Archie had constipation in the really bad winter & hadn't been outside for days:() that he couldn't get in & turn round in my old (normal sized) one - he is very long & it was the only one I could find that was wide enough

Right - on the lappy now so
It's only 5cm wider than yours but a massive 11cm longer too - my maths is terrible but I *think* that means an extra 55cm of tray to fill which I guess will account for the extra needed  (good job I don't have to do a total empty / refill that often!
