Cheryl - you realise that if you do get into the London Maraton it might not be quite a 'virtual' trip there for some of us next year to cheer you on... I'm only a short train ride away from London you know :D

Very good news on the me being happy front....got next week off work - hurrah. Now to get the housework all done so that I can actually enjoy the week off. Funny how a simple change of pace can alter your whole mood.

So true Hazel, glad to know it's helping :)

I had a big spendy today. Took a couple of things back to Next, and whilst I was there, bought too many other things! I am annoyed with myself now as it is the first time I have done this since my LBM in January. I could take some of it back, but I do actually like it all, so am going to try it all on again and make a decision. I 'paid' for it on my Next card, so if I do allow myself to keep it all, I will make sure I pay it off quickly- a maximum of 2 months.
What is good is the way that it is making me feel. I did enjoy it whilst I was shopping, but it has been on my mind since, and I'm not enjoying how it has made me feel.
I suppose I also have to put it in perspective- I have paid off over £5000 from my debts since the end of February.

Wow! Well done on paying off the £5k :T
Try to be ruthless with the Next stuff, chances are that out of everything there is one, perhaps two items you really like and will wear lots, and the others you can live without and won't be so fussed about after a week or so. This is just an idea as I've not tried it myself, but how about hanging the items up and then seeing what/if any you really feel like wearing over the next few days, or if you're more than happy wearing stuff you already have. Might help you decide what you do really love.

ps I hate that post-shop feeling. I've never really had an issue with what I spend on clothes (though I am sure there is room for improvement) but I always feel a bit blue once i get home with my loot.

    :hello:

    Hi lovely NSD gang xx

Managed to get number 9 today so I feel better now I'm back on track :)

Well kitty is lovely :) her name is Lara and the lady I got her from had some food and litter. I am not going to let her out for a while until she has got used to the smells of the house and can find her way back.

She has managed to find one of Orphan's old tennis balls.............don't know where it had been hiding and has been playing with that and an old bottletop for hours :rotfl:She is sleeping at the moment, I have found out that I will have to start putting my clothes away and not leave them folded up in the living room LOL.........This will all be good for me, I gave become a bit of a slob since losing Orphan

Hope everyone is well, big thanks for everyone keeping this thread going do it was here when I came back...I do miss you all.

Tomorrow will be spendy as I am meeting a friend for coffee...........need to get a couple of bits for Lara but MUST NOT rush to pets at home and spend a fortune (repeat several times on way out)

    See you all tomorrow xx

    Thanks Kerri :)
That is pretty much what I was thinking of doing. The most expensive things that I bought were shoes, and although I like them, I don't need them. I am going to think seriously about whether to keep them. I take a size 8, and they don't often have my size in shoes I like, which is why I ended up buying them.
Well, I have 28 days to return anything if I want to.
