    And hello to:

cw18 – glad you’re not letting the financial side of the marathon put you off what could be a once in a lifetime chance, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you in the ballot!!

Not one for me today, wanted to grab some salad stuff for over the weekend & didn't fancy braving the supermarket tomorrow when i would have been spending anyway, as the whole world will be off work, so did it today & put tomorrow's money to one side as well, might be a blessing, as now i can only spend what's been put away, so no chance for impulse buys!!

I need to get back on the NSD wagon, I am doing so badly :(
No you're not doing badly at all SF...10 NSDs is great!! :T:T
If you can pick up a few more NSDs before the end of the month, then all the better. You have not spent on nearly half of April so far...pretty good I'd say!

I have had quite a spendy day today...succumbed to the requests of eggs from the boys (18 and 21!). Not many bargains left...but I did get some G&B eggs on BOGOF, so pretty pleased. :EasterBun

    I am hoping for a
long weekend completely packed with NSDs...fingers crossed :D. We now have enough food for the rest of the month (will prob need milk next week and some veg, but that's all).

We should be working in the garden Friday to Sunday, then taking DS1 back to Uni on Monday and popping in to see some friends on the way back...they have kindly offered us tea, so DS2 will have to fend for himself at home with the dog (no room in the car with DS1 and his stuff!).

Have a great weekend, NSDs or not....just relax (or work hard!) and have fun!!

This is nothing to do with spending or NSDs, but I just had some fun with DS (aged 8), burning bank statements and CC bills!! I had loads in a box and our shredder has broken, so I came up with the idea of burning them in the barbecue!! We had so much fun and there was something very therapeutic about seeing the bills go up in smoke!! :D
I suppose I am thinking of my debts going the same way- just not so quickly!:p
WE only got halfway through burning it all (there was a good few years worth!) so we are going to have another go tomorrow night! :)

SF - you'll have me after you too 'cos your rather 'poor' tally is me just hitting double figures as I now have 10 NSD too :j

Lunching tomorrow with a friend so that won't be one and rather concerned about where the other 4 might actually be coming from, I though i was doing quite well this month and all of a sudden i'm running out of day... eeek!

Cheryl - you can come and stay with me for the marathon - we're 30mins from west london by train and chez GT rates are more than reasonable :D

So glad we have a long weekend, but v.busy at work and have to cram 5 days work into three next week

Little niece still nameless but the gifts I ordered for her have arrived, one called Ewan the Sheep that plays 4 comforting noises for a newborn is super cute.

Rather worn out after a very active dance class tonight, have a mahusive bruise on my foot too from a slightly over enthusiastic climb - should look lovely with flip flops tomorrow...
