  • Wee Pilsbury – to the elastic bandage, hope you’re ok?

Elastic bandage is an emergency measure because of my knee wound that became infected. Needs to be kept covered but now I've developed an allergy to any adhesive plasters  so the dressing needs to be kept on by .......... an elastic bandage. :D

Wee Pilsbury goes off to search the forum for elastic bandage recipes - as promised by Jintyb :T

    a big hiya to Spoony,

And a big "hiya" back to you 3Dogs, good to hear from you again:T:T

Sorry things are a bit up and down with your Mum, that can't be easy to live with:( but you're in Newcastle now for a while and can see first-hand how she's getting on and what care she needs. At least she's eating well, which must mean she's comfortable, and recognising you which must be lovely.

Thinking about you and sending you a big ((((((hug)))))).

    Take care

    Evening all

Not a good day for me either. Found out that I didn't get the place in the uni course, was a bit blue after finding out. But I am now going to spend all my free time into finding a job so me and DH can live together again. I think thats why I was mainly blue. Not nice being in a newish city, home alone for 4/5 days. Plus I work with a bunch of numpties. Contract is up at the end of August but I definitely don't want to be here by the then. Would really help with our DFW adventure if we were together too. So I am dusting myself off and getting my application hat on.

    xx

    Hi Rock_Cakes
Really sorry to hear about the uni course, not surprised you were a bit down in the dumps, it's to be expected.

But well done for dusting yourself down and picking yourself up again. You go after those jobs, there'll be a good one out there for you somewhere, you've just got to find the right one.

Good luck and if you need a rant, you know where we are (I also have a very good bum kicking smiley if you need one of those:D).

    ((((((hugs))))))
