Yep - same here (Scotland).
We'd not had our finger on the pulse on this and I suspect others hadn't either - I swear I heard a collective "Oh !!!!!!!!!" go around the neighbourhood as letters were opened!0 -

Postman's just been with the letter from LloydsTSB confirming this change on Vantage (which I hadn't noticed) - pppffffttttt !Yep - same here (Scotland).

Poster KirbyBirch is suggesting in posts #64, 66 & 68 that there might be something else out soon, but no suggestion as to what it might be. It'd be a shame if everyone draws their excess money out of the Vantage accounts only to find something else is introduced after doing so.0 -
No point leaving £12k (£2k x 6) earning Rockall in the meantime. I'll put it in the best instant access account I can find in case they do launch something else..... but right now it wont be LLoyds so I suspect they will see a massive outflow from their coffers at the end of June unless they pull a fat rabbit out of the hat.If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.0

I''ve always intended to keep the max £5k in all 6 accounts @ 3% as it's still a winner but there will be a few £millions of £2k's moving out of Lloyds over and above the £5k ... as it'll earn zilch.
Maybe I'll temporarily put the £12k into something like B'ham MS instant access @ 2.78%If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.0 -

I've just had a letter from Lloyds about the change in Vantage interest rates, but there was no mention of the 3% easy access account that you mention. Does your letter say that this is going to be for selected customers, or does it suggest that it'll be available generally?0 -
Does anyone know why the Nett rates for, say, 2% AER, 1.98% gross are shown differently in the pre- and post- 27 June tables? (Currently 1.59% but to become 1.61%)0

Can't see where you're getting the 1.61% from. Both the PRE and POST 27 June tables online show 1.59%, as does the letter that's been sent advising of the rate changes.0
