You get post on Good Friday ?

    Yep - same here (Scotland).

We'd not had our finger on the pulse on this and I suspect others hadn't either - I swear I heard a collective "Oh !!!!!!!!!" go around the neighbourhood as letters were opened!

Poster KirbyBirch is suggesting in posts #64, 66 & 68 that there might be something else out soon, but no suggestion as to what it might be. It'd be a shame if everyone draws their excess money out of the Vantage accounts only to find something else is introduced after doing so.

No point leaving £12k (£2k x 6) earning Rockall in the meantime. I'll put it in the best instant access account I can find in case they do launch something else..... but right now it wont be LLoyds so I suspect they will see a massive outflow from their coffers at the end of June unless they pull a fat rabbit out of the hat.
If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.
If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.

Good luck with finding an instant access account that pays much more than the Vantage will on up to £5k (3%) and offers Faster Payments in & out, plus a Debit Card - I'll be moving the excess £2k from each of my three accounts but will leave £5k in each until a significantly better rate appears, either with LTSB or elsewhere.

I''ve always intended to keep the max £5k in all 6 accounts @ 3% as it's still a winner but there will be a few £millions of £2k's moving out of Lloyds over and above the £5k ... as it'll earn zilch.

Maybe I'll temporarily put the £12k into something like B'ham MS instant access @ 2.78%

Mine will go into my Tesco Internet Saver @ 2.9% (which does support FP in & out) unless something better comes along before the end of June.

I've just had a letter from Lloyds about the change in Vantage interest rates, but there was no mention of the 3% easy access account that you mention. Does your letter say that this is going to be for selected customers, or does it suggest that it'll be available generally?

Does anyone know why the Nett rates for, say, 2% AER, 1.98% gross are shown differently in the pre- and post- 27 June tables? (Currently 1.59% but to become 1.61%)

Can't see where you're getting the 1.61% from. Both the PRE and POST 27 June tables online show 1.59%, as does the letter that's been sent advising of the rate changes.
