Cash Euronet UK LLC T/a QuickQuid
They have an office in London : 483 Green lanes , London , N13 4BS
The bank are required to reimburse all fraudulent transactions be it debit/credit card or a dd , tell them that if they dont you will take them to the small claims court and also go to the FOS,
You could also esculate this to : neville.richardson@cfs.coop the CO OP Chief Exec
Thanks for this. I already had their address and phone numbers, but they don't reply. I have now spoken to my local branch of the Co-op bank and a very helpful member of staff had a long conversation with the co-op fraud department. She eventually managed to persuade them that I didn't take out the loan myself!
They are going to investigate the matter and contact Quick Quid. They have now agreed to reimburse me. It may take a week or so, while they investigate. But result!
I now feel the need to report Quick Quid to the relevant authority for the abysmal way they handled or rather didn't handle the matter and also for their complete lack of ID checking... Total cowboys.
Thanks S0 -
Sorry if I sound a bit thick, but if someone used your account details with Quick Quid wouldn't the loan amount be paid into your account ? Whats the sense of that......0

I suggest you report it to the FOS, no one else is worth bothering with.0 -

I dont know which phone company it is. Orange, T-Mobile, O2, Vodaphone. whichever . OP knows which dates they topped up, by the bank statement. Sorry if my suggestion was stupid.0 -

You would think so, but no, it's been paid into another account! What kind of loan company would do that? I just hope they can trace it.
When I spoke to the Quick Quid they'd never heard of me! Once I hear back from my bank's fraud dept I shall write to the FOS. I think I deserve an apology for the headache sorting this mess out.

Sainsburys loans can be paid by cheque if requested. (well they were when I had one some years back). So its not unusual.0 -

Yes I understand that, but wouldn't the cheque have to be written out with the OP's name on it, same details as on the card ? Surely you wouldn't give details of an account then ask for the cheque to be written out in a different name.0
