I have an urban detour which I bought off a friend, she'd used it for her 2 children (the eldest is now 6), and I've used it for both of mine. Its excellent for walks, brilliant over rough ground. It is bulky to fit in a car but we mainly use it for walking rather than taking it to town. It is also fab for getting little ones (and my 2+half yr old) to sleep, its the only buggy that DD1 will sleep in - suspension is great she looks so comfy in it. I also have the Nipper 360 single for DD2 and the double for when I need it. Both bought off ebay. Thoroughly recommend them too. I know they occasionally get punctures because of the tyre type, but a cycle repair kit normally fixes it, and if not you can get tyres that size pretty cheaply from the market!! The tyres and suspension on both these types are great for a comfy ride for the little one, especially the distances you're walking daily - also they're comfy to push. I had a zia and my back killed me pushing it! I would def have a look on ebay, and if there are any near you the seller may be amenable to you going and having a look before bidding.
