Thanks for updating us LIH. I didn't know if we'd see you today as I know you are poorly. Lots of :grouphug: :grouphug: and get well wishes!

Fantastic news on the boot sale. I remember that was a tricky time for you so I am only too pleased with the good result for you :T

There isn't much that stops me coming on here :o ,if I can type, then I'll be here ;) I find this takes my mind off the pain,I have to admit though that I have only just got up today :o ,been sleeping like a baby!

We still can't believe our luck with the boot sale,DH thinks that as it was payday for a lot of people on Friday, that's why the lady left it so long to get in touch.

Forgot to say, good luck with the move, remember to keep the kettle and cups handy ;)

Nothing again today so my signature holds the correct amount. I think it was around £4 :rotfl: Can't remember....

Next week, oh it's going to be pricey... night out, meal, erm... £40 - shouldn't be more than that, so going for an overestimate :p

Moozie I'd managed to miss that you're moving house (at least I assume that's why you're madly packing boxes and it's not just masochism!) - hope that goes well.

Our first post-LBM salary arrives in Nathaniel's new bank account tomorrow, so next week is our first proper post-LBM DFW budget week (I'll post proper SOA again later). Our budget is as follows:

    Food £92.30
    Fuel £34.60
    Car maintenance £35
    Household £13

It's not a very helpful breakdown though really, works better on a monthly basis. Our car budget is actually £151.67 a month (includes monthly standing order into another account of 1/12 of road tax, insurance and MOT as well as something over for the odd bit of work), and I know we will spend almost all of that monthly allowance having work done on Nathaniel's car this Friday. Similarly our fuel budget is actually £150 a month = 2 tanks of petrol for Nathaniel's car and one tank of diesel for mine, but in reality we will fill up the Renault this week at a cost of £50, thereby going over the weekly divvy up, but across the month it will be fine. Nat's car will be fine without a fill up til next week. 'Household' is odds and sods including haircuts, but again £13 would only cover DD, who's haircuts come in at £7 and are about once every four months. SD's are about £18 and mine nearer £40, but I don't go often. In fact I spend the same per year as my father, rather amusingly, but he has short hair that's trimmed regularly and I have great dangly purple locks that only get attention 2-3 times a year. Great, now I sound like a witch LOL! A few stamps will have to come out of that as we mailshot all the creditors again, groan.

We've deliberately pitched our food bill quite high to start with, esp as this is the breakdown we're giving the creditors. It gives us room to negotiate if necessary, but also realistically takes into account the fact that Christmas is coming up and there will be some extra food bought.

Weel, I think that's for the noo.
If you can't be a good example, be a dire warning :D

Ooh don't think like that. I bet your mum will be really pleased with it. It's the thought that counts. My mum isn't with us sadly anymore, so being able to spend time with our loved ones is what counts the most. I'm sure you know that anyway. Hope everything goes okay x :D

Aaw PAP,I'm sure she'll love the hampers, try not to compare your gifts with the others,it really is the thought that counts and what a lot of thought you have put into them.
