hello,
i have been abit slow with all this and just looked at my egg account and seen i pay card repayment protection too.
i opened my account in early 2005 online and i am sure i wouldnt of asked for this.
do you think i have a case to ask for a refund?
At one stage Egg were using 'opt out' tick boxes, instead of 'opt in'. If this is was the case with yours, you probably have a good case, because you would have had to tick to say you didn't want it. Naughty Egg, tut tut.:rotfl:I drum and knit to help Independent Drummers and Knitters to comply with their rhythms and knitting patterns. Although I am qualified to, I don't advise drummers or knitters for reward.0 -
Hello,
Firstly I'm new to all of this so my apologies if I'm on the wrong thread etc - please feel free to bump it to the more appropriate category.
Some time ago I began to pursue a complaint with Egg about a misold PPI and after a while of not hearing back from them I then took it to the next stage through the FO. I received a response from them whereby they asked me to sign a form and return it but somewhere in the realms of 'life' I put it to one side and never sent it off (Foolish lazy girl that I am).
I am now aware that there has been a merger between Barclays and Egg and I wondered if it is now too late to pursue my claim?
Any thoughts would be really very welcomed.
Thank you.0
