Just wondering if I should send flowers to my mothers funeral, as I said I didn't know her, I don't feel any loss as I never had her. My youngest half sister isn't going either she's been told she's not welcome. The last wish of an angry bitter woman reaching from beyond the grave to hurt someone who really didn't deserve it, this wee soul has 7 kids 2 newborn twins, her crime? She wasn't able to visit her mother 2 -3 times a day to do things for her. I think the flowers should go to her to cheer her up on the day of the funeral, this wee lassie kept her babies and didn't abandon them like her mum did. I am so proud of her , my heart goes out to her. Any thoughts , pearls of wisdom anyone? I really don't know what to do.:undecided

I also think you should send the flowers to your half sister, I think it might be nice if you deliver them, stay and have a cuppa, if possible.

    Hi Mothership,

wish I could send you pearls of wisdom but I'll leave that to those that are much better with words than I am. I will though send you a big hug and say that focusing on the positives in that you have a half sister that you are proud of and sending her the flowers, I think may make you both feel better at a difficult time.

    Take care

rosieben - congrats on the Birth of your DGS.;)

hippeechiq & Mothership - hugs for both of you.:)

I've updated my total with this weeks spends which were on fruit and veg, running low on Milk and sliced ham so a little trip to L!dl today.

Dinner tonight is going to be a Casserole in the Slow Cooker using Ox cheeks from DR - the menu plan was written up before I realised it was going to be 21 degrees again here today!!

Off to the Allotment again today to make the most of this lovely weather, got my potatoes in yesterday, came home and sorted some more seeds in the Greenhouse so feeling good about keeping the GC under control in the Summer months with all the fruit and veg we'll have on the go.;)

    Have a good day everyone.:D

, I definitely recommend grandparenting, much more fun than parenting :D

crazybeautiful, well done on having a plan! a good store cupboard is a life-saver!

Mothership I've always found this to be the most supportive thread, its one of the reasons I've been here since 2007 :D

I agree with the others, I'd give flowers to your sister, she must be distraught. If you can deliver them personally so much the better; maybe you could tell her what you feel about her, as you've just told us. thsmiley_huggroup.gif

thinking of spigs today, sending lots of positive vibes and crossfingers.gif for a good outcome

sorry, forgot to say :o that I've added Nettle Pasta to the index jumblejack :T
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D
