Crap used to be word filtered on here so yes I still write CARP . So sorry it offends , I promise not to do it in future Oh Great One !

As for tasting like Carp, I have eaten Carp in the UK and Europe and enjoy it . I have tasted Mac meals when under duress I have bought them for my children . A 250gr rump steak from my butcher costs me around £2, no contest !

I am amazed that the OP wrote to them about poor service. It's McDonalds! A Mcdonalds without poor service would be like a Greggs without a queue of fat be-scrunchied teenage mothers!

I would have written to them if I had ever got good service from their nationwide squad of spotty, surly youths. It would have been more noteworthy!

Just to add today I took my daughter to McDonalds after school. Our local outlet is being refurbished so the restaurant was closed but drive thru was still open although the que was quite long. I ordered her meal and when we got to the collect point was handed her drink and icecream and told we would have to wait for the meal given a bleeper and told to go and wait in the carpark and when it bleeped to drive back thru the drive thru to collect. Normally if there is a wait staff will bring the meal out.

I questioned with the girl would it not be better to give me all my order together so as the icream did not melt and the drink get warm. She was very stroppy and told me they were short staffed and it would be ready as soon as they could cook it. I then explained that if I had to que at the drive thru again for my order that the drink and icecream would definatley be better served with my whole orderl. Very reluctantly she snatched the icream and drink from me and told me to wait in the carpark.

Not service that I would expect from this big chain would like to complain but not sure who to email.

LOL, this is a great thread, just because this MacD's is the closest one to me. The last time I went I left half of it. I don't think I've ever seen so much acne in 1 place at the same time. Put me right off!

Oh, and they only serve Halal meat.

They have to employ staff with acne.
