What did you order that took 40 minutes?
If they have to cook food, if it's not out in 5 minutes, I'm in there looking for it.

    More fool you.

10 minutes, max, after placing the order you should have asked for your money back and gone elsewhere.

Please Sir, I want some more ;):).

In the Bromley branch you get a free apple pie if your order takes more than a certain amount of time to come.

Don't think they serve apple pies with breakfast, though by the sounds of things the OP was probably still waiting around at 10.30 when they switched to their daytime menu......

Yep but worth for wait for their sausage rolls. Best ones for miles (baked then kept warm in their 'keepy-warmy-thing') near to me and they don't cost a lot.

I'd not be happy waiting 40 mins for my food in a 'proper' restaurant...in fact a lot of places give you a warning if it's going to be say a 30 min wait on food. Cannot believe you'd wait that long in a McDs!!
Reminds me of when a group of us persuaded a couple of the group to go for McDs takeaway...they took ages, the food was cold and they said that they'd had 2 'special' orders (plain burgers or something) and so everything else had gone cold while they were sorting them. One of our group then said his brother worked there at weekends so he'd get him to have a word....at which point the female one of the pair who'd gone went bright red, the guy went a bit flustered and said it wasn't worth making a fuss over. And then his wife threw him out 2 weeks later when she found out about their affair :rotfl:
