Morning everyone,
Lots of hugs and spoons to everyone who needs them.
Mumof5 I hope the Drs sort your mum out. I'm thinking of you.
OMG I must be mad! I agreed to get two rooms plastered on Sunday. So have to add in completly emptying both of these rooms before then. It's going to leave me with a hell of a lot of decorating to do. Also the plasterer looked in my loft and aparantly I can actually have a 'normal' loft ladder it will just have to go at a specific angle (as in come down into the bathroom/not the hallway) so it doesn't hit the wall/rafters etc. This will be a lot cheaper and he has a mate that might me able to do it for me fairly cheap (I wonder what that means). The plasterer we use is great though he's a freind of a friend and does a fabulous job and I think it's fairly cheap for plastering.
I have a strict budget from OH for decorating £500. This must include carpets in the bedroom and study. So £130 spent on plastering - would like to spend £60 on hallway if I can. I'm going to get a quote for the carpets and see how much I have left.
Today's flying will therefore probably be just organising things for the decorating. Can't believe I'm starting this with a 21 week old baby. (((((((((POSITIVE THOUGHTS))))))))) I can do this.

it's probably easier with a 21 week old baby than with a couple of toddlers.........:jFlylady and proud of it:j0

I decorated half our house at 4-6 months pregnant.. laying carpet is NOT good for SPD!! and it looks like I'll be doing it again this time round!! But just the girls room.. I am considering trying my hand at plastering... if I'm not too fat to reach the wall!
I spent the entire 3 months saying don't touch that wall or that skirting and mind that paper and leave the paint alone in the bathroom...LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
