Thank you for joining me LameWolf :) Hope you got on alright.
    Hi all.

SOOOOO sorry for not coming back after the HHC yesterday; it kinda all went to hell in a handbasket..... :(

Mr LW rang near the end of the HH, (during which I whizzed round the living room and finished all but one extra);) so I added a few minutes on – enough for me to forget to report back in before commencing my paperwork.*rolleyes* And the landline rang, so that sent me into a bit of a panic, even though I ignored it and let the answering machine take it (they left no message, so probably a nuisance call anyway).

Started the paperwork – there was a lot, including some for the area I'm handing over on April 17th.... and my printer decided to play silly baa-lambs, so I spent well over an hour persuading it to print the letters I needed to send out. :eek:There was also extra to do, ie a little missive apologising for lateness of issuing membership cards, as it transpires this stuff was held up in the post.... for several weeks! (Why any of the people affected hadn't queried why they hadn't had their membership cards I don't know, but that's not my problem).*shruggy smilie*

By the time I got it all sorted, I was thoroughly stressed out – and it was high time to start dinner. Loki is alive and well, and residing in Concrete Cow Country, it seems!:rotfl:

Anyways, above is my progress on yesterday's list – just one extra that didn't get touched, but in view of the problems I'd had, I think I can be forgiven that one. Hoping for a bit better day today!:o
I have heard from LadyLiberty - she could do with some extra spoons and strength vibes if anyone has spare - she has a lot on the go just now xx
I don't have very many spoons myself, but I'm sure I can find a couple for our dear friend Lady L. (((HUGS))) and coping vibes by the barrow-load also being sent.

    Jinky congrats on the move.

Mumto5 I'm so sorry to hear about your mum; major healing vibes for her, and coping vibes for you. (((HUG)))

I've decluttered my lunch while I've been catching up and typing, so I'll go and wage war on the bathroom now.:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Thanks Cyclingyorkie and Pigpen you made me laugh. You are right it could be a lot worse!

Baby group was fun we made mother's day cards - It's probably the only one I'll get because I think OH will forget!

Lunch eaten - I'm off to get carpet quotes in a minute.

Flying has gone out the window. My mum has been rushed into hospital. Gall stones have been discovered - she is yellow and has a high temp. We are still waiting to see if they are going to operate. It's very scary.

Oh no, I hope they don't operate, but if they do I am sure she will be fine. Thinking of you and sending big healing vibes to your Mum xx

(((((((((POSITIVE THOUGHTS))))))))) I can do this.

Yes, you can. Big positive thoughts winging their way to you and think how nice it will look when it's all done.

LameWolf, sounds like you had a right 'mare but let's hope today is much better for you.

Belated congratulations on the move Jinky!

Big hugs and spoons to Toots, Lady L and anyone else who would like one!

Just finished lunch and need to get on with my typing now so will report back in later and maybe do a HHC once I've done this report - probably about 2.15 or so.

Yippee. Got the client. On the way home I went to buy a celebratory bottle of wine and got a nibble at another much larger one as I talked to a friend in the shop. :T
