    Evening all

Thanks for all the hugs. :A I've just skimmed through the last few pages and I'm glad I did, as it really cheered me up.
The elusive paperwork has not turned up yet, but at least my colleagues are now aware that there's a problem, and we've got a few options in case I don't find it tomorrow. As a positive outcome I've decluttered 3 carrier bags full of old paperwork while I was searching. :D

I'm keeping on top of laundry and I took DS1 for some new shoes ready for his trip to Hull tomorrow. I'll ask him to wave, pigpen. DW will go on later, and I'll find something else for the WM. DH has done all the ironing, so that will need putting away tomorrow. I've fed the cat, done homework with DS2 and read him a story. Time for another cuppa, before I'll get a couple of jobs for work done. I'm hoping to be asleep by midnight (if I don't pick my book up ;)).
  • Cat_Smith Good Luck with the new client, Im sure it will all go well.

    Jinky Congratulations on the move.

Im so please with myself as I managed to get rid of a computer virus that my anti virus was not picking up :jIt may have taken me 3hrs but I did it:D

We took DD shopping for new clothes and swimwear this eveing as she is going on holiday with KN and his family on Sunday and boy does she shops like it an olympic sport . Although trying to get her to buy stuff she will wear after the holiday was a nightmare.

happierdays congrats. I have to hand the computer over to my inhouse IT expert whenever that sort of thing happens. But I feed him in tradeoff. Wonder whether its tax deductible. Sure as a CA I should know :rotfl::rotfl:

lol... cos the kettle wasn't boiling fast enough for my soup and I had eaten all the oranges and I was starving. I really like them, though can cope with just 1 or 2 a year.. I don't buy cherries because I can't resist them and the reaction is really bad and I love strawberries and have to eat them with AH's too...

There is so much I can't eat that the stuff which makes me itch for a couple of days is better than the stuff that gives me huge amounts of pain.. like cucumber.. so I itch occasionally. Have you ever tried shopping avoiding red fruits, bananas/avacado/kiwi (part of latex allergy,), salad, sweetcorn, garlic.. I love garlic... I currently cannot eat too much onion or wheat either. That's before we get to the stuff I don't like.. lamb, beef, dairy (milk in tea and cereal is bearable) tomatoes, anything remotely spicy, .. I live on roast dinners, potatoes, mince, pasta, baked beans and cups of tea!

Is this IBS? Or allergies? Have a couple of friends with IBS and cater for them regularly so really feel for you.

How do you descale a showerhead?
  • TopYamMy shower head comes off so I pop it in a bowl of 1part water 2 parts wite vinegar.

If yours doesnt come off you could try putting this solution in a jiffy bag and tying it around the shower head.

ETA forgot to say that one it been in the solution for an hour or so I give it a scrub with an old toothbrush.

Cat_Smith I havent got anyone who can do it in work we are all as useless as each other and I paid a man £50  for removing something similar a few months ago and at the minute there are so many other things that money could be used for.
