Morning Flyfriends.
Get-well vibes to all who are under the weather just now. Hex and Dippypud come to mind.
((((HUGS)))) also for Mrs Chaos; hope your day is going better today.
Serena welcome to the flying-with-no-bending-heavy-lifting-or-energetic-exercise club.;) Take very good care of yourself, and I'll send speedy-recovery vibes your way. Anything to do with the face is unpleasant (I know from experience – had my jaw broken both sides back in 1984) so you're right to do what the aftercare instructions say.mumoffour77 wrote: »Has the hour "springing" forward messed up anyone else's start of the week?
Mr LW has been inspired to do a spot of decluttering:j - he brought an old sheet down from the loft, which can go to the RSPCA for dog-bedding (it's single, so no use to us, and a tad scruffy, but it's nice warm flannelette), and he's finally decided his tattiest shirt is too tatty to wear any more, so I'll have the buttons off, and cut it up for polishing cloths (it's also flannelette type of material).
We've ordered a new "concertina" loft ladder - it fixes to the loft hatch, and has steps right the way up into the loft. It'll be a lot safer and easier for Mr LW than the portable step ladder that means he has to haul himself up the last couple of feet, which he's finding increasingly difficult. After all, he is te-tum-ti-twiddly-one, so he's no spring chicken, if we're honest.;)
Sadly, we still don't have any way for me to access the loft (decluttering would take place with a vengeance if I could get up there, you may be sure!):D
I don't have a conventional fireplace, but I think I shall take a screwdriver to the front of the gas fire, which has chunks of coloured glass on a grating (for flame effect, which we never use *rolleyes*) and is something of a dirt trap, and see how many dust bunnies I can evict. Thanks Piggers for drawing this to my attention.:beer:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Good Morning all
Hugs/spoons to all who need/want them and get well vibes winging there way to all those who are not well or have sick LO's
OH has been doing the flying this morning so WM and TD are on and another load waiting to go in. DW unlaoaded and restacked and kitchen S&S'd. He now gone out for a run with dogbot, so Im going to finnish off todays list and hoover the furniture and floors."Let your boat of life be light, pack only what you need- A homely home and simple pleasures, one or two friends worth the name, someone to love and someone who loves you, a cat, a dog, a pipe or two enough to eat, enough to wear and a little more than enough to drink, as thirst is a dangerous thing" Jerome k. Jerome0 -
LW that sounds like exactly what we need to do to our loft. May I ask where you're getting your ladder from and how much it costs?
Wiped some of the electricals and played with baby. Time for lunch now I think.0
