  • Morning all,

Not much flying today as going to my aunt's to sort her mobile phone out after work, I shall be shattered by the time I get home. DH home so he can do some flying instead.

Thank you to all who posted re: my moan yesterday. I knew you'd have lots of advice.

DS1 doesn't get pocket money as he does so much out of school that needs payment eg: rugby, tennis, guitar lessons, cadets and now cricket practise has started but you are all right, I think it is the way to go to get him off his backside and definately with a sliding scale.
We time everything for DS2, he likes to race against us and the clock but it would be nice for him to do something without being a whirlwind for a change. I have brought umpteen boxes for his toys and he has 2 big toy boxes but he breaks them all. I think until we get a prognosis for him I'll try and be more patient, (perhaps bribe him with sweets) and just work on the older one for now.

looking forward to tomorrow as I have a whole day to myself (first since beginning of Feb) and I'm looking forward to doing some proper flying.

Hugs to anyone who needs them.
  • Morning everyone,

Lots of hugs to everyone whos needs them. It sounds like quite a few of you need them. ((HUGS))

I'm a bit behind the times pigpen sorry- congratulations and good luck with the coming months.

Good timing with today's room. So far this morning I have sorted the toy box and the paper drawer. AND for the first time in 18 months cleaned the outside of the windows!! I'm aiming to complete this list (by the end of the week).

Also I got a phonecall from a potential childminder - that I'm going to visit on Thursday. Must remember I'm NOT desperate it has to be the right person however much under pressure I feel to find a childminder soon. So extra task for tonight to write down the million and one questions I need to ask when we go to visit. Anyone have experience with this? What should I be looking for? Do you think it's ok to ask them to use washable nappies (obviously I will do the washing bit)?
