how much ram is installed, how far has the scan got? Approx, how much data have you got?

If you are able to, kill the spyhunter process in task manager, and uninstall it in control panel - did you install this instead of malwarebytes? the file for malwarebytes is called mbam-setup.exe

nothing confidential, apart from a forename, edit it out if you are concerned

When you have cleaned up the infection, this may be of interest, as you appear to have a lot of bloat which may be slowing things down if you are low on ram

i dont know how it came up....I thought that was the link that i had clicked
I am now running kaspersky virus remover tool...its been running for 40 min and has only got to 1% complete........
I am losing the will to live here......

You posted last night saying it was running, and was slow, hence post 18.

Windows explorer is accessed by right clicking on the start button, not internet explorer.

please try and answer the questions, it's going to take a long time otherwise.

I suggest you post a new (ie fresh) hijackthis log, finish the kaspersky scan and fix anything found, and the follow the link in post 18 if the computer is slow.
