we set a budget this year and I'm doing pretty well - a set of medieval arrowheads and some antique WW2 webbing. Yes, we have rather strange tastes. . . . .0

We're going shopping to London in the sales!! Planning to spend a night there the hotel is a joint present to each other  Did this last year and it was great got sooooo many sale bargains plus we had a nice break away together.
But you've got to have something to open on the day!! So we've decided to buy each other a book, DVD and CD0 -

We've set a £25 spend limit this year, so I've managed to get a Collins gem book, a Dungeons and Dragons DVD and series 5 of Family Guy DVD. I did want to get him some monogrammed hankies, but they obviously genuinely did go out of fashion about 25 years ago!!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

Slowly, Slowly = Oct '09: £30693, Aug '15: £14820. Could Be Debt Free April 2020, but hoping for sooner!0 -
I've booked us 8 days in Spain in March. I got the flights via a code on MSE last May so only paid the taxes. I then kept a look at the hotel websites all summer and half booked us half board in a 4 star place. It came to £140 each all in (we are only 10 minutes from the airport we fly from) All that will be needed is beer money and I'm going to save my Feb and March Council Tax money for spending as I get those two months off. I know its still £280 but it is his Christmas present plus the only holiday of 2007.
I've just posted a thread about doing him a basket with a few bits in.0 -
I am paying for his speeding fine!:mad:0

Hubby is getting a Fatface t-shirt, cashmere jumper (from Uniqlo so cheap), some clarins mens stuff and a book. Plus the compulsory Terrys chocolate orange.
Curly fairy what about a locket for your wife with pictures of you and the girls in it - my husband gave me a locket with pictures of the children after I had our second child, and it was the best present ever. Apart from that - I would want PJ's, nice shower gel, books, framed photo of the children.0
