We have 5 bedrooms. DS1 has the middle reception room as his room at the moment, he moved home 2 months ago after splitting with his gf and living elsewhere for the last 3 years. DD1 (16) and DD2 (13) have their own rooms, DS2 (15) and DS3 (12) share and then DD3 (10), 4 (8) and 5 (6) share and the baby is still in with me and OH.

No opinions on whether you should or shouldn't as that is a matter for you and your OP alone.

Practically though if space is an issue, perhaps think about age gaps when they are older than they are now. If your financial circumstances are unlikely to change very considerably, you might find yourself in 10 years time with one doing A levels, one doing AS's, one doing most of their GCSE's, one doing some early GCSE's and one a bolshy early teen with not enough bedrooms to go round and hard to find places for quiet study? I imagine sharing rooms gets harder in the teenage, young adult ages anyway, so it might be nice to have a bit of a gap to let some drop off the top before the younger ones coming along behind need the extra space?

I am about 11 weeks pregnant with number 10... if you have room and can afford number 5 go for it... and you are positively an amateur lol

Only read this thread out of curiosity to see if you'd posted ;)

In the next few days I will have 2 under 3 and that scares the bejesus out of me, what scares me even more is a 3rd :D someone will be getting the snip ;).
Good luck though OP if it's what you want and you can manage go for it.

I only have the five. Although I do worry about where the non-existant number six is when I do a head count!

I currently have 2 doing A-levels and 2 doing GCSE's and they do are good and go to homework club on a lunchtime or study together. They are all very good at getting work done and in.. but I am bit of an ogre about it once at secondary school.

It is my 10 y/o that causes 99% of the trouble in here. She is not a very nice girl tbh which is bizarre as my others though they have their moments are lovely.

The main trouble in here is.. 2 toilets are not enough and we need a second bathroom.. I have actually looked into getting a loft conversion so we can make one of the bedrooms a bathroom.

Excuse me... but A) my hubby has now got a full time job back at where he worked before.. and B) My grandfather has just passed away and has kindly given me one of his properties to raise my family in...

Surely that is none of your business though, I came on here to speak to people in the same boat as me, wanting the same thing as me not to be judged!!!!

So how much tax credits do you receive each week?
    Gone ... or have I?

    None of your business!!

Have I asked you how much of an income you get a week, how much you pay out!!? No I do not, it's none of your business and your post has been reported as it is not helpful in anyway and you clearly are out to upset people that come on here for advice!
