One of the best ones I have seen is for an anti ageing cream (not sure which brand).
But the woman in the advert starts getting younger and "Fantasy Sequence" appears in the small print.

My personal favourite was shown in the USA. An ad for a viagra-type medication was shown, with the rattled-off medical information at the end.... including this gem:

'May cause priaprism. If you maintain an erection for more than four hours, you should seek medical help.'

Yes, a man suffering from erectile dysfunction should definitely seek medical help after the fourth hour with an erection.... he is going to need IV nutrients and someone to brag to.
Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

Got a reply from the ASA

[FONT=&quot]I’m sorry to tell you that we can’t deal with your complaint on this occasion. This is because the ASA isn’t able to consider general observations about the problems with advertising, or complaints about all ads within a certain sector; our Codes can only be applied to the specific content of individual ads on a case-by-case basis.

    Good eh?
I would've thought that this was why the ASA was set up in the first place

I stopped watching tv and listening to radio some time ago.... adverts were one of the more annoying things - I wasn't born to listen to those.
I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

The thing is that the reason that ads have to include the small print is because of ASA rulings preventing them from misleading the public with any/all of the examples above. Would you rather they failed to provide the information that might help inform your decision?
