The % figures are what % of the Asda price you are paying... e.g. a value of 100% you are paying the full price of the ASDA price so no point bothering going to tesco for it as you might as well just buy it in tesco, whereas a 50% figure means that the total cost after DTD is applied is half the cost of the item at ASDA (where it was cheapest anyway).
It confused me too at first, but once I wrapped my head around it, it was fine. Basically the lower the figure the better value. Minus figures meaning such good value its actually paying you to purchase this product.
Thanks for the explanation - It is the other way round to what I have been doing in my head as I am thinking higher value percentage equals better purchase. But as you say I just need to look for the lower numbers:-) and it is really useful as my head was starting to hurt so thankyou to whoever put it on. In fact thanks all for keeping the spreadsheet going as it makes everything much easier:D0 -

It shows how truly clueless some Tesco employees are, I had an online shop and gave the voucher and receipt to the driver (who didnt even know what dtd was).
I rang the store next day and the guy I spoke to said the voucher had been handed in but no customer name given. I gave him my details and he said he would process the refund, he also mentioned that the vouchers were a new thing to the store and they were still getting used to them.
Today I find an email in my junk mail folder, from Tesco, saying:
Dear Mrs ?,
I am pleased to confirm that we have refunded the following items to the card you used for payment
Item Ordered Quantity Price Refunded
Hovis Soft White Medium 800g 1 £1.15
Aquafresh Fresh Minty Pumpt/Paste 100ml 1 £1.98
Tesco Sensitive Anti-Dandruff Shampoo 300ml 1 £0.61
Vanish Oxi Action Crystal White 1kg 1 £8.32
Colgate Total Professional Toothbrush Medium 1 £2.86
Lurpak Slightly Salted Spreadable 500g 1 £2.80
Muller Amore Orange Yogurt 150g 1 £0.60
Muller Amore Strawberry Yogurt 150g 1 £0.60
As you can see that is not a £20 refund. In fact they have just refunded the whole shop apart from some Cornettos that were ordered...not sure if its worth ringing to complain for the sake of a £1 or so. Goodness knows how they are going with vouchers for bigger shops....Please God, help me stop spending!0
