Anyone been shopping in St Stephen's Extra, in Hull, pinching all the lamb racks? GRRR - own up!
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

    Dear Customer,

As you may know Price Check claims are limited to £100 per household per month as per our terms and conditions. Our records show that you have exceeded this limit and we cannot issue a voucher on this occasion.

    Thank you for your understanding.

I've wondered about this too. Surely it's all trackable if Tesco's want to track it.Ihave been a bit naive and used debit card, clubcard and same e-mail address for all my transactions and am now bitten as have gone over the limit on ones put thoughfor other people. i just didn't think.
In future, I will not use clubcard and will pay cash and make sure everyone I input for has their own e-mail.
Anyone know for sure the currrent tracking method?

I over heard someone in Tesco talking about this they said If the receipt shows you have used a 'Large' coupon to pay then that's how they will track people and so not print a voucher unless the receipt was paid for in cash :(
:) If you see someone without a smile give them one of yours, :)

:) It wont cost you anything! :)
  • Just back from this evenings trip. 3 shops in total between us, will post up the lists shortly.

Re my receipt which had been damaged by coffee spilt on it, no problem at all. I popped to CS on my way in and had a quick word - they had a look at the receipt, probably recognised the items as "common" ones for DTD and just said it was fine. Cashier didn't bat an eyelid about it.

2 of the shops tonight were cash ones, helps dilute the vouchers I used yesterday a bit. Both slightly under the £20, but that's just my poor calculations I think.
  • I wonder if staff are told to say they've never seen a voucher before, we don't get many of these etc. etc. I went to a medium size store and there were no huggies pure wipes, no jammie dodgers, no airwick diffusers, no olay aqua physics and no colgate toothbrushes but the SA claimed she'd never seen a voucher before and the supervisor who came over said we don't see many of these????? Wheres all the good stuff then??? ..............Maybe in the staff shopping:rotfl:

I see what you are saying, but what i am saying is - They gave me my original receipt and my DTD voucher back.

So that voucher wont be in the till - and wont be sent back to HQ so they will have no recollection of it as it was just processed as a £20.** voucher.

Pop back with it or ring the store and explain that you were given your voucher back in error. Otherwise the checkout operator will be disciplined and may lose his or her job when the till is cashed up.

Use your conscience, its a no-brainer!

I will say again - it is not only email addresses, I have retried to submit a receipt on a new email address and it is not working after it got rejected from my usual email address so it is more than email address. My guess is that the receipt numbers got flagged in the database.
