Can you return unwanted item to a different Tesco store?

My wife did her first DTD shop this morning and got a little carried away buying items to the value of over £20 DTD! BTW, she paid cash for them (even without the item we want to return DTD voucher should come at £20). The store is 12 miles away, and our local store is only 1 mile away.

Be aware that in some stores now, If the SA writes that you've had something returned on your receipt you may not be able to use your voucher
:) If you see someone without a smile give them one of yours, :)

:) It wont cost you anything! :)

There was a guy in a mobility scooter last night when i was using my voucher. He was buying 1 loaf of bread and got stuck by trolleys behind him. 20 minutes later, the lady returned with my voucher. You should have seen his face. :rotfl:

That will teach him for breaking the speed limit down the isles. ;) I had one the other week that made Schumacher look slow.

Oh and before the PC brigade have a go - I'm saying it tongue in cheek. I am not Sexist (although I like sex), Ageeist (unless my MIL falls into this category) and have no problem with any creed or race (my local Chinese will vouch for me of a Saturday night). ;)

You can put in any receipt from the last 28days, or at least that was the case last time I read the T&Cs

    Also:
A number of you have this sort of thing in your sig - does it count as buying if Tesco pay you to take then :P

Well, It's debateable whether it counts or not, me myself I have not bought any toiletries on dtd at all, so proud of myself! But their again I could probably keep T's going in toiletries for the next year I have so much, but I have bought them for my OH.

Last night i used a voucher and the supervisor to the checkout boy to make sure he signed the receipt, so he squiggled across the middle of my new receipt instead of the old one......

Luckily it looks nothing like a signature and is nowhere near the details at the bottom so im confident i'll have no issue using it so didnt bother to argue...

Perhaps we will all meet one day over by the Magnums , we will have to have a MSE special sign .

Trolley full of magnums/cornettos/comfort/herbal essences etc should work as a sign:)

scrap my last post - I FOUND THE RECEIPT!!!! whew - as i was typing i had a vague recollection of shoving it inside my laptop before i closed it but havent used that laptop since, have used this one or the pc with the printer!! im a happy bunny now!

and a filing system sounds the best idea - i have now taken to ripping up and throwing away any tesco recepits that have been used and given back to me otherwise my poor wee brain cant handle it!

so tesco tonight.....obviously......whats the best alcohol going - as always, im wanting to be paid for taking it from them, or completely free, or very very cheap lol!! what am i going to do when this is over and i have to go back to paying normal prices !!!!
