thank you for reply kitschy, still got to get my head round it lol but will check asda price then take a look at my tesco
. am i right in thinking if it is still £4 in asda and £8 odd in tesco i will get £8 odd back?
You're welcome - I've had lots of help from the folk here, so it's only fair I pay it forward!
Yup - make doubly sure it's the same size as some people have been caught out with different size product. Then take away the price at Asda from the price you're paying at Tesco, and times your answer by 2. In this case:
8.32-4 = 4.32 x 2 = £8.64 back to you :j0 -
not sure if this will still be working tomo, but i got frijj milkshake in T £1.10 bogof...these are on offer for 50p in asda, so buy one and make a profit of 10p.. great if you need to spend a pound to make your shop up to 20. this is not confirmed btw, as i got 2. DOH!
I can confirm. Purchased one on Monday.0 -
Not tried but:
Huggies Super Dry Size 5 11-19kg (28)
Tesco £6.48 Asda £5.00 DTD £2.96 which makes it £3.52 a pack.
Tesco Value Size 5 Junior 11-25kg (26)
Tesco £1.91 Asda £1.43 DTD 96p which makes it 95p a pack0 -

back in the good old days of the £100 limit, I used a £75 voucher, without much problem, but then when I tried to use a £72 two days later after much arguing which laster 25 minutes they finally mentioned the £100 a month limit.
Tried it on a couple of days after that and the same manager came along  . He explained that he had already informed me. "I think you are confusing me with someone else. I have never spoken to you before"
Admittedly it wasn't one of my greater lies.
Since then I have been swooping under the radar a couple of times a day (so I thought). just got back from trying to use a cheeky £20 voucher, and one of the managers (who i can't recall) informed me I was already over my £100 a month limit. I carefully doctored my numbers and said I had a £61 voucher originally used. (thus meaning my £20 voucher with evidence of a prior £18 voucher was within the T&C:D (I'm cunning like that)
Manager then described a couple of occasions I had been shopped in the last few days along with the value of the vouchers I had used.
Seems they aren't all as dim as their marketing team. I had to leave with vague mumblings of inflicting a voucher bonanza on them from the 1st April onwards.

Let's hope communication between stores is as bad as head office to store communication or I will need to think up some Scarlett Pimpernel style disguises.
OMG This is how I feel every time I go in, always seems to be the same manager on!!! I think I got round mine by one day having long hair, next day I had a bob and the day after that Id changed colour.... sounds drastic I know but I promise I was doing it anywayThe art of being happy is to be satisfied with what you have0 -
I can't believe it. I feel like Victor Meldrew.0

I have just received a parking ticket for staying overlong in my local branch of JacK Cohen's Emporium of Fine Foods and Comestible Items (aka Tesco).
As I am a pensioner on a fixed income with a new girlfriend to support , does any kind MSE member know if I can use DTD vouchers to pay this fine?
Thank you in anticipation of your esteemed responses.
Why all the Cohen references?
Are you being anti-semitic or something equally obnoxious?0 -
