Does anyone know if the CS desk is open 24 hours in store thanks

one of my tesco's does have a cs desk which is open till at least midnight. the other one closes at about 8pm, and then there is a customer service area near the tobacco kiosk ( a faux customer services if you will), but they didn't seem qualified to make decisions, and told me to check with a checkout supervisor (As i understand short of hauling out a manager, it is normally the CS desk staff in charge?)

this was confirmed by another poster when it was £29.99 at tesco a few days ago so hopefully still ok :)
    Excellent! :D

It goes to the top of my shopping list then - I'm willing to do a swap with my local Tesco: I can give them x1 £20 DTD voucher, x1 £10 Tesco voucher they gave me for making a complaint last week, and x1 £1 coin. And they will owe me £18.04 DTD voucher for this swap! :D:D:D

I have just received a parking ticket for staying overlong in my local branch of JacK Cohen's Emporium of Fine Foods and Comestible Items (aka Tesco).

As I am a pensioner on a fixed income with a new girlfriend to support , does any kind MSE member know if I can use DTD vouchers to pay this fine?

Thank you in anticipation of your esteemed responses.

If you are serious about getting the ticket, just ignore it, cf pepipoo.com - it's not enforceable

Thank You for that, the reason I am asking is I am going shopping at around midnight but sometimes find they are more likely to overcharge you at this time due to products scanning for more, I have never bothered about it before due to the time but if customer services is open and i do get overcharged then i won't be disappointed this time knowing about DTD lol:rotfl:

I can't actually understand why people are look that. It just doesn't make sense. I have tried to pass on my money saving ways to my MIL and FIL and other family members, with very limited success. My Mum and Dad have listened (I think I've got their genes) but nobody else has.

Needless to say I live a reasonably comfortable life - not well off. Work from home. Can suit myself. Finances in reasonable order whilst my MIL goes to work for the minimum wage. Life could be so much easier. But I get the impression they just can't be bothered.

So this week I took my wife and kids out last night with vouchers from a survey site, for a full slap up Pizza Hut, with all the trimmings. Fifty odd pound worth. Tonight was steak, chips and veg and now I can sit down with a nice bottle of Glenfiddich, which only cost me a tenner.

I must say that I owe much of that to this site. Some people need their head feeling!!

Couldn't agree more! The amount of times I try and share MSE knowledge and it falls on deaf ears, or they look at me like I'm a bit mad (which maybe I am, but thats a different matter!). I don't know what I'd do without this website - I'd certainly have less luxuries!

Maybe people do think it's too much effort, or it's for 'poor' people, but the way I look at it is why pay full price for something when a quick 20 second search will usually get me 10-20% off - or in this instance free! :T

I've just bought the Aqua Physics day cream and it scanned at £10.20 still, i think it had been reported as going down in price today.

Have also bought the Hardy's Crest at £10.49 to see if it still works, will report back tommorow.

2nd go so i'm really a novice - 1st go was a bottle of the hardy's and confirmed DTD on Saturday, with the cheesecake yoghurts and 2 x 8 pack diet coke - DTD exactly £20, luck rather than forward planning.

Used voucher from that to buy above (other shopping too as well tho that are N/A) so if it doesn't work today there will be no complaints from me.

Just to confirm as reported that the Hardy's Crest is no longer working - confirmed as of today - bought yesterday.

The Aqua Physics was confirmed tho so still working :T so far!!

Also randomly loose banana's are cheaper too!!
