Thanks for the advice, but when I get a good look at the parking ticket (as I thought) it is merely the label from a bottle of Mr Cohen's finest chardonnay. I must go to Specsavers!

No harm done, but at least it matches the Guinness label which I use a tax disc!

You may be pleased to note that in some of Mr Cohens larger emporiums he takes the trouble of hiring a team of ocular specialists. As it appears you no longer have a parking fine to pay, this could also be a good opportunity to use the DTD voucher Mr Cohen personally issued with profuse apologies and disgust that he had let you down on the previous occasion.

Just had my .com order delivered. Stupidly I didnt change the no substitutions that I checked when I was doing a DTD shop! This time I had ordered bargains in the hope of using my voucher. Due to the lack of items available the total cost ended up being less than my voucher!!

I'll have to make another order now!! My cupboard has never been so full, the muller rice have taken over the fridge!

Its been fun,but bl**dy nerve racking too, I have 2 to spend in store. I haven't spent one instore yet due to the thought of being called a thief/fraudster etc!

ohhhh, how do I do that? I paid cash and voucher...
I'd phone the store and ask if its possible to go back and have the receipt reprinted - if it is then head over there. I think someone did this in the previous thread.

Seems they aren't all as dim as their marketing team. I had to leave with vague mumblings of inflicting a voucher bonanza on them from the 1st April onwards.

:rotfl::T Love it! I would have been too mortified to come up with something like that! I would have probably mumbled something incoherent and ran out the shop at the 1st hint they were on to me!

I'm quite nervous to spend my 1st DTD voucher, I was even a bit embarrassed doing my DTD shop today (3 bottles herbal essences, 3 shower gels & 3 yoghourts) because I thought it was really obvious what I was up to!

Quite possible. There is plenty of lamb on the shelves, and so many elevenses bars even I end up leaving some. I have taken an interest in spying on other peoples baskets, hoping to spot a fellow money saver. So far I havent seen an, but i imagine the feel must be rather like that when two spies cross paths. They both know what the other one is up to, but they don't dare break cover.

The tesco is in Royston, Hertfordshire. At one point it used to be the most profitable Tesco per square meter. After my shopping the last week this may no longer be true.

I know what you mean about spying in baskets. Someone was looking at the wine the other days at the same time as being on his phone and wandering up and down like me looking for a specific wine, so I thought! I couldnt help but look in their trolley too!

Worse I saw someone with dozens of bars of chocolate and I worried in case I was missing out!! LOL

I went in today and bought
3 x 500ml bottles of Pantene Ice Shine Shampoo
1 x Olay Anti Wrinkle Aqua Phsyics Day Cream

I then made my OH go to a different till with EXACTLY the same! :). And we both paid with £20 vouchers. Expecting £20 vouchers back, and shall repeat previous shops when they come through :)

That sounds exactly like me

I did just last week purchase 7 x 390g bars of galaxy, and wine, both of which I was checking on my phone to make sure I had the right one.

I'm thinking about emailing Asda, asking if they can make their website less graphic heavy, as it takes forever to load on crummy 3g when standing in Tesco keeping an eye out for enemies (tesco staff).
