I then made my OH go to a different till with EXACTLY the same!. And we both paid with £20 vouchers. Expecting £20 vouchers back, and shall repeat previous shops when they come through
I wanted my oh to come and do the same but unfortunately he couldn't today - he's not getting out of it tomorrow though!
Took my oh's mum shopping with me and she showed absolutely no interest in getting DTD! Don't think she was really listening to me because you would have to be mad to refuse free shopping!0 -
LOL, i was like that the other day wanting to double check stuff on asda's site. You can prob disable images in your phone browser.
I am obsessed with checking my emails... it's been 25 hours.Internet earnings:

I would be grateful if anybody could advise if they have had any problems using a voucher on a delivery. I understand you get a refund but when you hand the voucher over with your receipt you have no proof. Have their been any issues with this. I have a £50 voucher from the last day before they capped it and am a little worried about using it. Thanks!0

ooh
forgot to tell you
GOT A GIFT CARD ! :Tfor sister with her voucher today. She has been too chicken to ask in our local extra store where they seem to be more clued up on the vouchers but there's a little store nr where i work......
i just said to the YOUNG LAD cashier i want to buy a gift card, he pointed to the rack where they were and said go and get one, he said how much do you want to put on it and i said all of that and handed him a voucher for £70. I thought he was going to call a supervisor but he was starting to read the T+C's and i quickly "helped" him along by suggesting he just scan it and check the numbers matched, bless him he did and seemed quite pleased with himself. I asked him to sign my reciept and scarpered as fast as i could.:T:T:T
Never again, she owes me big time, and she knows it (just in case she sneaking a look at the thread!!)
LESSON LEARNED:PICK A YOUNG LAD, SMILE BE FRIENDLY, PICK A GIFT CARD AND TELL THEM YOU WOULD LIKE TO USE THE VOUCHER , DON'T ASK. DISTRACT THEM SO THEY DON'T CALL A SUPERVISOR. RUN.:D:p:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I'd be just a little worried that this particular 'young lad' might not be working there next time you visit! He will probably have got a good a*** kicking when his till was counted up or possibly been shown the door!ELITE 5:2

I can't actually understand why people are like that. It just doesn't make sense. I have tried to pass on my money saving ways to my MIL and FIL and other family members, with very limited success. My Mum and Dad have listened (I think I've got their genes) but nobody else has.
Needless to say I live a reasonably comfortable life - not well off. Work from home. Can suit myself. Finances in reasonable order whilst my MIL goes to work for the minimum wage. Life could be so much easier. But I get the impression they just can't be bothered.
So this week I took my wife and kids out last night with vouchers from a survey site, for a full slap up Pizza Hut, with all the trimmings. Fifty odd pound worth. Tonight was steak, chips and veg and now I can sit down with a nice bottle of Glenfiddich, which only cost me a tenner.
I must say that I owe much of that to this site. Some people need their head feeling!!Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
