Happy to say I've had no problems with redeeming a voucher tonight (last of the over £20 for us) and me and my OH are feeling good because we asked the lovely guy on the till to sign the receipt and explained why :)
If a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside! :)
  • Ok back from my evening DTD shop. As we arrived and walked past the cust service desk one of the people spoke into the Tannoy saying "CODE RED to customer service desk", me being me thinks OMG they have spotted me and know I am a DTDer!!

Spent the rest of the time thinking they are spying me on the CCTV cameras!

    Anyway.

The plan was me to do one shop, hubby to do the other. Gave him his shopping list - but he was hopeless. I ended up having to go find the shopping and putting in the trolley for him. Last item to go in his trolley was the loo rolls. He's there standing right next to the value bog rolls going "Which ones is it you need me to get?" Loudly, right next to the person who is filling up the shelves. Then when we went to the meat aisle (cos I thought I'd go take a look at those racks of lamb) he's there chattering away to the guy working on the meat aisle. So much for trying to stay incognito!

We eventually made our way to seperate (but adjoining) tills. I put my shop through fine, voucher scanned OK - very nice SA who asked for her supervisor to assist (though one of the questions she asked was "do I put this through at half the price?" ummmmm no - the full amount please thinks me!). I then rolled round to the next door checkout to help hubby to pack "his" shopping. Comes to £20.20 (as calculated by moi) and to my horror, instead of pulling out his £20 voucher to pay (carefully previously placed in his wallet by his wife), he pulls out a crisp £20 note!!!!! I didn't know what to do!

So i kept quiet til we got our shopping back to the car. After telling him he was an idiot for not paying with his voucher I sighed. Oh well. Now I will have 3 DTD shops on the go.

    KL

PS I won't be taking hubbie in future!
  • also........

after the stress of actually using our vouchers for the first time ( got all the receipts back silly tesco people  - ripped up and thrown away now)

parked our car in our flat's carpark to find someone in our space...

saw what we thought was a dog jumping up and down in the back - and we thought who would leave a dog alone in a dark car?! - he's obviously been in there for ages and gone a bit stir crazy

however on closer inspection - no not a dog ... a couple going, ahem, at it :rotfl:

and the best bit they were so embarrassed he jumped back in the front seat to make a quick getaway and drove into/over a bush

  • Can anyone answer this question pretty please :) Keeps getting lost as thread moving so fast lol!
Anyone else doing this with their online shops? Do they send an online voucher for DTD?
I have added about 4 DTD items, my shop will arrive tomorrow. I can make changes till 9 in the morning so I am thinking I will double check that T prices have not gone down and if they have I will take them out of my basket. The won't change prices midday right?

 had 2 vouchers to use and took my DM who only needed to lift up the basket I had hidden in the clothes isle and take to the till, instead she did a few more rounds of the store adding various things, like bargain custard powder at 6p and some reduced items so will no doubt mess up my calculations! :(
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

I used my first ever voucher today at the self service (£15) and it wouldn't go through without the SA so she came over and couldn't get the till to type in the amount so she went to another till and recalled my shopping through somehow.... So now my reciept says "Recalled Transaction". I am worried it will fail the price check for some reason now, has this happened to anyone else?

Can i submit two receipts in one day or do i need to use another email address?

Same thing happened to me. Just use the recalled transaction receipt, it will be fine, that's the one that will match up with your voucher.

No chicken or peppers. They have a sachet with the powder that you add to your chicken and heat up. Then they have a sauce to serve with the fajitas. My wife is fond of them - by some sour cream to give a nice blend with the sauce. That finishes them off nicely.

As for the chicken and peppers being included in the mix....I think you are looking for a pot noodle if you want it all in the same packet. :D

    thanks
i'd rather buy my own chicken

you do have to buy 2 don't you, i saw someone post earlier to only buy one and couldn't understand why, they're on multi buy in Asda 2 for £3 , am i cracking under the pressure?
