I'm sure you can spare a thought for those farmers which will go out of business as you all rack up your freezers with frozen meat as tescos squeeze them some more to cope with the sudden loss in profits because im sure they wont absorb the sudden extra costs.
my post isnt about anyone being wealthy or poor, its about having some sort of morales and realising that some people here are effectively theiving, bad company or not it shouldnt be resorted to this to highlight a point to them because i doubt they would absorb the cost which then just puts more pressure on other businesses which cant afford to pay their bills or their labour costs.
and i'm not the other half, i never said i was? its about convinience not about what class i am.. the travel costs will be much higher for me to go to asda than tescos. i have money set aside each week for groceries and i budget and intend to spend the same week by week, but i wont suddenly change my whole diet just because it might be free!
& please dont keep saying tescos is more expensive.. me inputting my basic shop without checking the prices came back as tescos being cheaper than asda. if you want a cheap shop then there are places out there which are a lot cheaper than these two!
I have, for many years, ALWAYS looked for the best bargains before doing my supermarket shopping. I have used various price comparison sites, newspapers, word of mouth, advertising flyers etc. and, because I don't work and have enough time on my hands, it is not unusual for me to split my shopping between several different stores only buying the special offers/deals in each one.
There is absolutely nothing wrong in doing that - unless you feel that I have been exploiting the supermarket 'deals'? Tesco have now INSISTED that they are cheaper than Asda and have thrown down a challenge to prove them wrong - I fail to see why you seem to feel that, by accepting their challenge, I am thieving !!! I am still looking for bargains - but if Tesco want to save me trudging round several different supermarkets, then that does save me time and effort.
I don't agree with taking stuff back for a refund after getting and using a voucher and I certainly feel that anyone who has re-used a receipt that has not been signed with an extra print of their coupon is well out of order. The rest of us are simply proving to Tesco that , in many, many cases, they are NOT cheaper than Asda.ELITE 5:2

No chicken or peppers. They have a sachet with the powder that you add to your chicken and heat up. Then they have a sauce to serve with the fajitas. My wife is fond of them - by some sour cream to give a nice blend with the sauce. That finishes them off nicely.
As for the chicken and peppers being included in the mix....I think you are looking for a pot noodle if you want it all in the same packet.0 -
