been told tesco are withdrawing(temp!!??) due to the misuse in the last 4 days....informed by supervisers at three bridges west sussex ,hookwood horely surrey and uckfield east sussex!!!

OMG, worrying, anyone able to confirm?

Because when you phone up or merge the temp card online, all the info moves over to the other card.

But you could just get all the points put on the temp card, put it in a drawer after DTD finishes, wait for the first mailing, spend the vouchers and cut up the card. :) No?

    i get it now!!
i am a regular reader of that thread but never been out to try it-found its always a bit of a risk and not always the same in each tesco, mine is quite far and i found i was doing alot of useless journeys especially with the potential 1p finds :(

That is a problem if you don't live in Tescoland. As Tesco have gradually helped close down many shops locally and in return opened I would guess at least 10 - 3 large ones, in a 3 mile radius, I'm nev er too far away. Especially on the morning of the change in price. ;)

I have a friend who lived in Rogart ( about 60 miles north of Inverness in Sutherland) she met a bloke on holiday who lived in the midlands who decided to visit her when they got back to the UK. He told her he would arrive around dinner time, thinking that Rogart would be just north of Edinburgh. She waited up until 2 am when he finally arrived!!!!!! Theres more to Scotland than many people think!!:rotfl::beer::beer:

Clearly they [Tesco] found it hard to make a promise they couldn't keep." Asda Spokesperson.

I say Tesco found it EASY to make promises it still cannot keep.
