That is a problem if you don't live in Tescoland. As Tesco have gradually helped close down many shops locally and in return opened I would guess at least 10 - 3 large ones, in a 3 mile radius, I'm nev er too far away. Especially on the morning of the change in price. ;)

    oooh i see
so you look for the special offers and bogofs that are still on at the original price on the sel
that would be a wednesday would it not? Can see mine saying here she is again!!! lol!
shame i work on a wed morning, might have to change my hours and get another addiction when this one is over!

They wouldn't be able to check. Mr.T hasn't organised this promotion to benefit the customers they have done it for the sake of being able to say they are cheaper than Asda or double money back - they were expecting people to take them at their word and not take them for all they've got lol.

    lol... that made me laugh....

so if i upgrade hubby's phone to an iphone i could get an apt that i could scan the bar code of an item and it would compare the prices with asda yes?

sorry for all the questions, but i am very rusty with Mr T's policy, was a dab hand at it when it was r&r and coupon bashing...:D

But you could just get all the points put on the temp card, put it in a drawer after DTD finishes, wait for the first mailing, spend the vouchers and cut up the card. :) No?

Sadly no. It is a fallacy that many people think. A card is just a card. It is an electronic printout of all the shopping done. This then gets transferred over to the other card. The only way this would not happen is if somebody from Tesco physically added the points on. But this doesn't happen. Have you ever wondered why the Customer Services scan the barcode when adding points? It would be just as simple to just add 80 points - but no. If they scan the barcode they have all your shopping details. Same for those who womble regularly!!
