    lol... that made me laugh....

so if i upgrade hubby's phone to an iphone i could get an apt that i could scan the bar code of an item and it would compare the prices with asda yes?

sorry for all the questions, but i am very rusty with Mr T's policy, was a dab hand at it when it was r&r and coupon bashing...:D

I haven't done as well as others at this, but what I have done is make a list on computer of all the items that have been confirmed as dtd that I am interested in. And before going shopping I check Asda and Tesco own website to make sure that the items are on both sites and haven't changed price.

You can use third party websites to check but I would rather check direct.

I live pretty close to Tesco so just pop home double check prices and then nip out to buy items on list.

I've always understood it to be litter collecting - Picking up dropped receipts and claiming any unused clubcard points.

i tried telling both my sisters, but i might as well talked to my shoe, one sister went to shop for a bottle wine last night and paid £7 i was like omfg
I tried telling all of my sisters & their OHs because i'd been reading this thread while laid up in bed & wanted someone to do a shop for me. Nobody took me seriously & thought it was my medication making me delirious & leading to fantasies about very cheap or nearly free stuff from Mr T's.
Finally on Friday my mum asked to do a shop of her own to get her 1st voucher & 1 of my sisters did hers yesterday. My mum was at another till in the same store as me & hasn't had her Friday afternoon shop confirmed yet i received my email yesterday at about 12.30pm.
So to those of you trying to persuade others, be glad they haven't listened to you so far & tread carefully as it's not a dead cert even when following advice from here & double checking the supermarket sites before hand.
Having just caught up with the thread i see there are many who haven't received their vouchers for shops carried out since Friday. I really hope this promo isn't pulled before my mum, sisters and all the other posters get their DTD vouchers for shops carried out according to Mr T's own Ts & Cs as in the words of my Grandpa "That's just not cricket!" is it now? :o

Sadly no. It is a fallacy that many people think. A card is just a card. It is an electronic printout of all the shopping done. This then gets transferred over to the other card. The only way this would not happen is if somebody from Tesco physically added the points on. But this doesn't happen. Have you ever wondered why the Customer Services scan the barcode when adding points? It would be just as simple to just add 80 points - but no. If they scan the barcode they have all your shopping details. Same for those who womble regularly!!

But it would be a separate Clubcard, obv registered to your address but perhaps not in your name  Then you get the CC points (and vouchers) in the first mailing and afterwards destroy the card. It would have no link to your own Clubcard. Am I still getting it wrong?

I don't womble btw - and these would be all my own receipts, all cash transactions naturally. :D
